the filter element and cover just popped right off. we dont know how? still it was amusing  the cops where looking at it funny, and they couldnt do anything coz the car was stock, only had like 100k's on it :nyaanyaa: dumbarses

actually i was looking at her inlet (i mean on the car :nyaanyaa:) and theres at least 2 resonators, the airbox is about half the size of one of the resonators lol

i will tell her of your shennanigansbut she loves her car too much to do that to it tho

ask her if she wants to lend it to me for 30 mins

sorry, dont think shes for hire (removes pimp hat) still you must have acess to quite a few you could get inside of and thrash around (are we talking cars here still ? :nyaanyaa: )

well i'm liking both options here :w00t: cars still. i have access to our entire fleet of around 470 cars  including trucks, utes, tiidas, getz's, magnas, astras, x-trails and taragos. usually i will thrash most of the vehicles i drive purely for the fact that my boss will just blame the last customer for it (am i evil :nyaanyaa: )

hah really?

at the moment i work as a medical scientist but gettin pissed off with that, what would i be doing? car pimp? :P

i'd stick with your current job then. sorry, i've actually got the position of car pimp at the moment and i dont feel like stepping down. you would prob be doing sales work, dealing with customers and stuff. you can earn some alright money, but its partially commission based. 30k + commission. if you really want to then let me know

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
