 where do they get the numbers from??

would fixing the road be nice.......

then people could speed more cos the road is so nice to drive on. he he he :)

figures are taken by the numbers of deaths determined to be by that cause, then estimated what would happen if some of those problems were fixed, on average how many people would be saved.

For eg. 200 people killed from 04-06 because of bad roads, if some of those roads were fixed only 100 people may die, hence 100 are saved.

Note those estimated are from 2007 to 2010 (expected amount of lives saved if the measures were attempted to be fixed.) Funny how no one on the news or the police seem to be focusing on fixing roads or improving car safety though??

are you sure that this is correct for the QLD restrictions in place for introduction July 1 2007? I don't think thats right.

thats nsw ATM. havent checked QLD yet

there are no exceptions in QLD, not even if your boss has a v8 ute as the delivery vehicle, you cannot dive it. Its all on the QLD RTA website. As far as vehicle restrictions go there aren't many exceptions, if any.

hmmmm, thats pretty ghey. nsw wont like being beaten on this. lucky i already on my p's so they dont apply to me. as long as you get your p's before june 1 or something isnt it?

this years "christmas road toll" was 62 deaths. I cant remember how long it goes for but its a bit over a month or something i think, dont know. Each year around 1400ish people are killed. So what happend during the christmas period....hmm we did the average...little less...how, amazing.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
