nope, but you buy it, swap all the good gear into an road registerable one, and robert is your mother's brother

still left with a useless car...would rather do that with a tough rx7 or something...the mx5 is a hairdressers car...we've established that at great length already....see the mike thread as reference.

while it may have the image of a hairdresser's car, they're light, nimble, and would outhandle pretty much any skyline out there, even when in close to stock form....

not saying i like them, as they're underpowered, but they're not bad

depends if

A) I can use it for free.

and

B) how long for.

Out of interest sake, yeah.

ok rang him then. he said to ask u if u had ALL the necessary parts to do it in a weekend, as it needs to be out of the workshop by monday. also he doesnt really want to do it, as it's a pretty big job.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
