yeah, i called BS where it stated the free installation kit includes a roll of optic fibre cable :D

Old man rivers would die when a GT42 would come on boost/ More so from how they hit boost.

I was along side a supra with a gt42 with big cams, I have never heard a turbo so tough comming on boost then seeing it leave so quick.

Sounds like some of those turbs we saw on the rotors at the jam. Bigger than the engines they were. :D

but u saw what they were like if they stuffed up the launch and bogged them down, needed to half track to spin them up again :no:

joshwa, got my exhaust sorted. twin 2.5" dump pipes with 2.25"screamers to atmo, 3" from back of dumps into 4" straight through to muffler at the rear. send car off week after next :O

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
