18psi yes he did tell me, but i was pretty unorganised no tyre pressure guage. They were at 36psi.

Axle tramp, :O f**k all the way til half track.

\

Not sure what model tiens, but when i find the knob which way do i turn it and where is the knob, not this one on the keyboard either, lol. :laughing-smiley-014:

u farktard, no wonder u only managed a 13.4 :D

axle tramp = f**ked shocks &/or worn bushes

next time ur out give me a yell and i'll set her up as best as possible! (i know ull be back out, the bugs bitten hard i bet :P)

Farktard yes i am  .

The bug has crawel up my arse :O .

Shocks should be good, bushes maybe.

The suspension and ride of the car is hard as a rock.

hmm ok

couple of thoughts

reduce axle tramp need to:

a) soften damper settings on shocks

b) revalve shocks to a more sophisticated setup, the teins are known as being a poorly designed valving system

c)put a softer spring in the rear and revalve the shock as needed

d) replace subframe bushes

e) add suspension goodies to rear end to aid in squat/traction

finally, give the keys to me to run a 10

not soo much as poorly designed as the rebound, rate tends to be alot stiffer than say HKS drags.

teins support more of the drift/circuit with harder suspension none of this soft short straight line crap lol... :sorcerer:

jokes...

lol shaney poo.. u drive that ull break it like the others..

I will give you the tyre pressure to hold for me, but no keys BUDDIE. :P

So where are these dials at the base or at the top of the shock.

There are no "dials" on teins. There will be a round, small knob that turns.

Look at the top of the coilovers, is there a knob that turns? If so refer to what I told you a page back to adjust the damper. If you see no knobs that turns, you don't have have damper adjust teins.

go read what sk and the other guru's have to say about the teins

hahaha spose i could do that for ya :)

This is true, althought SK really only rates bilsteins, more so his ones... We have some what adjustable bilsteins in the Porsche and even thought I rate them, I wouldnt jump out and buy a set.

Same goes for a set in a skyline I have driven, nice basic firm set up for street and the odd club day, other then that why brother...

I share everyones opinion on Teins, although I rate them high for drift, and drift only.

i too rate them for drift.. i like coilovers.. what u guys think of JIC..? or HKS hypermax..?

also my coilovers DNT have the adjuster.. but HD or HR HA whatever its called does. the rears should be a knob. like the pedders and bilsteins and the nismo Stunes

anyway i like stiff ride.. i like a HARD STIFF RIDE...

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
