.... I also like the fact it farks people off to see it in a skyline lol. Some people want to watch the world burn. I'd prefer to just mindf**k society into a pseudo feeling of security, then douse the thing with fuel and light the sucker up, I don't think I'd even watch, just simply walk away with my back turned victoriously humming Beethovens 5th :)

Why do u want the 6 speed? What's wrong with the 5 speed in yours or is it an auto?

And yes I love autos, for numerous reasons... 2 mainly: people ALWAYS will underestimate an auto car (if they're misinformed nimrods) and nothing amuses me more then taking someone for a run in mine and watching them go "WTF as it smashes into the next gear" or better yet all the "manual heros" that lay shit and then make excuses when they can't launch and "miss gears"

mmm sequential makes this not happen!! still saving for mine :(

hahahah i love it.

mines manual, just in 5th gear it idles way to high for highway driving and in 2nd gear the is not alot of grab it just..... kind of slowly drives away even when i hold revs up and stuff it then grabs, loses traction, and does its little 1 second wheel spin before i back off again

im thinking the s15 or the 350 gearbox i think from looking around the s15 box is weak and people put the r33 rb25 box's in the s15's

but im yet to convince myself of the need to, if the clutch starts to go then i may look more but other than that ill just spend more money on fuel hahaha probs be cheaper

fark autos specially powerglides....no good on the street or pretty much uselss! my car is a street car and sees corners.... :P

If I was making big power I'd out a glide in mine :P I think gummy had one in his toranna at one point #@34GeeTeeTee

Yep 4.11 diff gears will do that, I've got 3.7s in the ass of mine.

I honestly don't think it's worth the fuss man, could always change ur gear ratio, and give me your 4.11s :)

im probably going to talk to northside transmission tomorrow they are a few sheds up from my work, i need to get my diff redone its leaking and the limo isnt so limo anymore.

ill see how much it would be to change the ratios or what they think of the idea of a box swap. if they think it will be worth it and its not to much i might let your nissan have some more nissan parts again :P

me to night all

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
