I have considered selling the GTR to get the first two sorted out.... but then once they are sorted I would probably want the gtr again lol. Better to just chip away at it.

me too. many times. but now I have come to the conclusion that I would miss it too much and be miserable without. + realising that financial loss would kill me.

I have not actually spent that much yet, including buying it, it only owes me 23k but the rest of it I can relate to

yet 23K is a lot. think about the opportunity costs forgone (sorry my accountant brain is always switched on). I have spent 3 x that amount bunta or more and that is not the wisest thing I have done.

I could get around 20k for it so in real terms not much of a loss for a car that I have had for 5 years!

That reminds me of my old r32, spent almost 70k all up by the time it was done....and the GTR was better the instant I got it lol

I have many a regret about my old car lol, none about this one.

Yes. 70k on an R32 Gtst is nuts mate. I fell in love with the GTR back in 2001 and got the opportunity to purchase one in 2004.........and here I am. I told my wife I want to buried with it when I die lol.....

Thats what happens when you have to do everything twice or 3 times. It was an awfully sexy looking car in the end lol. And would chip 4th :P

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
