:) Hi everybody,

My name is Rik. I have read the SAU forums for a lot of years but have never posted. I am a Skyline enthusiast. :D Regrettably, I am selling my Skyline – I have been meaning to sell it since December but it is too hard to let go. I need a ute for work. I figure, might as well pass the car from one enthusiast to another!

I am new at this, so let me know if there are any details or photos you want in particular. I am having trouble attaching photos, so hopefully I will figure that out soon! In the meantime if you want any photos let me know and I can email them to you at a reduced file size.

Contact me anytime on 0421619811, or reply to this post :D

I'll skip listing all the standard features of this model, as you probably already know them! Here is a run down of my car. The car has clocked 92,000km. I purchased it with 69,000km on it in 2002. I have a 2nd car so the Skyline sits in the garage most of the time.

ENGINE

-212KW at rear wheels @ 10PSI

-Blitz front mount intercooler

-HKS air filter

-Unichip programmable ECU (including electronic boost control)

-Malpassi rising rate fuel regulator

-Bosch motorsport fuel pump

-Full 3” stainless steel exhaust including CES dump pipe & Genie stainless rear muffler

-Exedy sports organic clutch 2800 pound clamping pressure

-HKS turbo timer

-Power steering oil cooler

SUSPENSION

-Bilstein shock absorber struts (front & rear)

-King Springs 50mm lowered springs (progressive rate)

-Whiteline front strut brace

-Whiteline front sway bar

-Whiteline rear sway bar

-Whiteline front adjustable camber, castor & toe bushes

-Whiteline rear adjustable camber, castor & toe bushes

INTERIOR

-Nismo 300km instrument cluster

-Pioneer 10 CD stacker (in boot) with in dash controller (+radio tuner)

-Infinity 150W RMS front split speakers with electronic adjustable cross over

-Kenwood 120W+120W RMS amplifier

-Darkest legal tint by The Auto Tint Shop

-Original Nissan floor mats

I purchase this vehicle in 2002. When I modified this car it was with 4 things in mind:

1.To comply with Queensland Transport

2.To comply with fully comprehensive insurance requirements

3.To retain original look

4.To produce safe & reliable engine performance

As you can see, I take great pride in my skyline. I paid a bit extra to ensure I bought a mint condition vehicle with low kilometers. It had 69,000km when I purchased it. The skyline has never spent a night outside the garage, and is usually only driven on weekends because I have a second car. I polish the car regularly and the interior is in ‘as new’ condition.

The car has always been fully serviced since I purchased it, and regularly tuned by Bob Romano.

You may think that the car is over priced, but if you are looking for a mint condition vehicle with genuine low kilometers that has everything already done to it, then this is a good buy!

Sorry to go off topic for the sale, but those are some impressive rwkw's considering the mods and only 10psi boost...:?

Do you have dyno sheets for this?

I need a good tuner to have a crack at my line to see if we can better the current power...

Back to the sale... :O

G'day! Yeah, the figure is genuine - I have plenty of dyno sheets as I progressively added on bits. I could go for more power, but at 10PSI you are not stressing anything - better to stay safe. The tuner is Bob Romano. Cheers! :)

G'day all :D

I have dropped the price to $20,000 ONO. Not sure what the market value is - I'm basing it on mileage, condition & features. I forgot to mention that it has clocked 92,000km. I purchased it with 69,000km in 2002. I have had a 2nd car to drive until a few months ago, so that is why the k's are so low.

Make an offer!

Cheers

G'day,

The first person to actually come and have a look walked around the car once a put down a deposit. Unfortunately he couldn't get insurance. Come and see - it is truly mint condition.

Cheers

    • Sorry to hear your HFM BM57 was faulty,  did you contact HFM I would hope they would be at least grateful for the information if there was some sort of manufacturing fault, you would hope they would be sympathetic even if your item was 2 years old if it had never been fitted. May I ask where it leaked from ?
    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
