Yeah thinking black man, doing my calipers black soon too with the 'NISSAN' in white but pretty certain that I'm going to go back to the silver lip

Yeah thinking silver lip now man, old photos are changing my mind

Yeh widths and offsets were the issue thats why I couldn't go any lower

Changing that now, gone to 17 x 9 rims and going to slam it to the floor - now I just need to decide what color to do the rims, black, white, gunmetal or leave it silver

Old picture of how the car looked with the silver lip, no cooler there though and obviously different wheels before - love the way it looked!! Not so happy with the way it looks at the moment

that looks f**kin hot that pic man even with the super advans.N i dislike those wheels very much

Damn how did you get it so neat?

Its not actually white paint on the Nissan. Its just sanded back. Covered the whole thing in black paint and then just sanded the letters back. You have to be sooo careful that you dont catch any of the sandpaper on the caliper otherwise goodbye another 30mins of your life!

Did it outside, in the wind, with no newspaper, under a carport

Abu, I didn't realise that was your car with those wheels before. My god it was low!

thanks man, I fkn love that picture!

Its when it first got here from Japan, I put TEIN coilovers in and slammed it to the ground and thats what I ended up with lol

Still got all the writing on the windscreen from the shipping company ;)

ah awesome - so just paint the whole thing and sand back the 'NISSAN' writing

What paper did you use to sand the 'NISSAN' part?

Might do this over the long weekend, along with the million other things I plan to do!

Yeah was fair low man, more lowness to come soon!

Recent picture of mine with the BLITZ LM cooler done in black and the GTR lip in a gloss

Don't really like the lip - what you guys think?

I want to do it in a different colour or maybe even go back to silver

Anways sits so high on 18s so got rid of them, going back to some 17 x 9s and going to slam it to the ground again :)

I really like the idea of the black front mount! do you just ask for it when u order it or do u have to get it painted or whats the go?

Yep looks really neat too

Na I got mine powder coated, bit different to spray paint and is also lasts longer and is more durable in different weather conditions

Plus the finish is way better

Just a quick pic from when i washed it... Came out good

Very nice. You got any more...

Where did you get the carbon fiber/fiberglass part that goes above the door windows???

I have wanted some of them for ages!!!

Just a few quick snaps with my new N1 spoiler lip - as requested by Abu!

ooo thanks for that Steve

It looks really good from the back but I reckon you need a different exhaust/muffler - a big canon to the side or even twin pipes

I like it! Did you bolt it down to the boot?

Where did that dint in the rear quarter come from!?

Thanks mate....Style of exhaust looks a little worse in the photos as it's dirty. As soon as i polish up the muffler it looks sweet and is a decent size aswell which does the trick....nice fat cannon would look better though i agree.

I used Urethane to bond it to the boot, it does the trick as long as no one tries to pull it off :P

That Fcucking dint came from some mutt banging a trolley/door into it while i was at work :) Real pissed off about that - Not sure if i can get it flattened out or not as it looks more like a kink than anything.

Find me a direct replacement fat cannon and i'll swap my exhaust for it - 3.5" BTW after the cat. :D

Yah I don't mind that style either, does look very neat and standard and still sounds great but you need the tuff look man. Get some crazy JAP twin pipes lol

Oh that’s good, I wouldn't want to drill holes into my boot so as long as the urethane holds :P

ah fkn people, incompetent pricks!! That’s why I never park the car anywhere

Was perfect before man – you can get a paint less dint removal guy to probably roll it out, doesn’t look to bad form the picture

    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
