btw when there is a gap the pipes rattle. u need to goto clark rubber n get some rubber to put around the hole. problem solvered

mine has about a 5mm gap most of the way round and it doesn't rattle, infact it bearly moves. you may want to mkae sure everything else is tight (intercooler isn't moving and mounting bracket aren't loose). also there is a only a small amount of clearence between the cooler pipe and temp sensor wires (atleast i think thats what they are). front of the motor where the top radiator hose goes on. jsut loosen them and spin them round the other way.

I swapped it for a 75mm (3 ") hole saw... all sweet now
