FlySly.

The Series I are cut, I've just got to get them bent.

I'm trying to get a machine here organised to bend them myself, but the guys in the factory are under the pump hard core.

If I can't get them bent here this week, then I will take them somewhere and have somebody do them so that I'm not holding you guys up.

Cheers

Pete

Hi guys,

you have all been extremely patient about this and I really apologise for the lenght of time this has taken.

As you know, I've changed jobs in the meantime and I don't have access to the easy drafting that I used to or the person who used to do the bending of the parts.

To top it off, I haven't been able to get the Series II guides tested because A, there's only one person in Melbourne who has a Series II Stag, and B him and I haven't been able to meet up recently because either I've been away or he's been away.

Anywho, not your problem, it's mine and I am constantly endevouring to get them finished. I don't believe that the sample I've got now will need to be changed in any way but I don't want to get them made without checking because I have made that mistake before with the GTS-T Series II guides.

So, anywho, I have tried calling my Melbourne guy a couple of times this week and have not been able to get a hold of him. I'm still trying.

The Series I guys, I'm just trying to get out of the office to drop the guides off at a place that can bend them for me.

Sorry again for the delay.

Bass Out

if you would like to get a look at the stagea then to test fitment etc jus drop me a pm and we can organise a time etc.

cheers oxford

hiya all.

yes myself and bass are to meet tomorrow in the morning so hopefully there will be an update at some stagea tomorrow by either my self or bass as to how it fitted etc.

and then hopefully all will be well and they will be all done soon as no doubt you all hope as well as i know bassjunky does.

cheers oxford

hiya all.

i met with bass junky this morning for trial fitting with the series2 template. after discovering there are a few little differences in the mouldings of the front grilles of S1 and S2 we marked where the differences are and otherwise was a good fit.

so hopefully it wont be long now guys and goils.

i must say however the part does look to be well thought out and very neat in its construction, and when in place it should certainly look the goods.

cheers oxford

i really need this radiator deflector, its starting to get beyond a joke, and i know you keep apologising for how long its taking but that isnt getting it to me any quicker, we all paid good money for these deflectors, i just dont think that you are putting enough priority into getting them sorted.

...end rant :):laugh::P

I am Literally modifyin the drawing as we speak.

AutoCad is blasting away.

The Series I guides are at the subbies being bent right now.

The Series II guides drawing will be finished in a matter of minutes then they will be going off to the Laser Cutters and they will reply with the order reciept within 24-36 hours.

I will then give them the go ahead, and I'll recieve them 3-5 days later.

Immediately they will go to my bending subbie and get bent.

That's where we are at.

Hey Guys.

Update: Just went to see how they were going at the bending place. Turns out their machine has been playing up all week and they haven't had a chance to get to it.

On the way there, I saw another place that I will get to quote the work as they can do everything from the start to the finish, including supplying material, cutting it, bending it and coating it.

I've been trying to get it done at individual places but obviously it's turning into a nightmare.

I'll will send the GTS-T Series II and Stag Series II drawings to these guys and see what it comes back like complete. I'm hoping that it will be near enough to taking it to three different places.

So, I should know by Monday or Tuesday about the new place and by the same time I expect to have the guides which have already been cut, bent.

Okay, have a great weekend ppls.

I'll update as soon as I know.

PS. I've learnt some valuable lessons from this group buy which I will keep with me always. Especially for any further group buys.

BASS OUT

Hey ppls.

All the Series I and Stag SI guides should be bent this weekend at the subbies.

I expect the quote from the new place today also for the Series II and Stag Series II

Full update Monday.

Update!!!!!!

Okay, literally just got off the phone to the new place.

They have come back with reasonable pricing, so I will be ordering from them. They are a little bit expensive on the Stag scoops, but I'll cover that as this group buy has been too long.

They are to be cut, bent and coated by the same company, hence making this much smoother.

A couple of little details are being finalised tomorrow and the order will be in tomorrow.

Not long now.

I have already begun folding the boxes up (mind numbing job) so that as soon as I have the parts in my hand, I can ship them out.

Bubble wrap is ready to go too.

Again, I thank you all for your patience and I trust that you will be happy with your parts when they arrive.

BASS OUT

Oh, Series I Stags and R33 Series II people, the folder hasn't done them on the weekend but promises them to me at the start of next week.
