hi guys,

just wondering once you fit a manual boost controller on the rb25det, do you have 2 block the factory boost soleniod or d/conect it or do you leave it just open, because one vacum line gets pulled of to go into the new boost control?

you can leave the top one hooked up as it only runs to the intake. if you take the solenoid off then make sure you block it up. the bottom one that comes from the wastegate hose can be left open, but it may get crap in it, so it is best to block it off. you can either screw a screw into it, or just kink it and use a zip tie to hold it kinked.

thanks dude,

on my soleniod both are really just open because i have venting bov so first hose is open and then the bottom one thats goes back into the intake is also open because i have a s/steel intake pipe of the turbo to the afm,

would this cause aqny boost crep or spike of anysort, im getting a bit of a flat spot just in 2nd gear from bout 3500-4500rpm

    • I've also been eyeing their rear axles for my car. I purchased seat mounts from them about 7 years ago and they were hot garbage so I've been a little wary about purchasing them. With that being said, please buy them and get back to us haha.

    • Being a manual, we very quickly ordered new R34 gearbox (From Nissan) and remaining parts from Kudos motorsports. Would highly recommend the team there. Ultra helpful and quick to share advice and upgrades. We are in the middle of taking the Auto out (Genuine 94,000/kms) and putting the Manual in this weekend. Part 2 of the build will include likely a Plazaman Intercooler and Plenium, Hks Exhaust with Tomei Dump (ordered).

    • Only a little block, around 530 or 550?  Big enough for what I need, but small enough to be fairly low maintenance  As for dogs, I want some Chihuahuas,  strange, but true
