Rb20det Automatic

hey guys totally new here... im guessing that this is the correct area for this topic.

i have a r31 4dr with an rb20det in it the automatic gearbox tends to "flare" between changes, its not overly apparent at low rpm, however if u let it rev out a lil and allow it to change at 4-5 thou then the time between changes from 1st 2 second and 2nd to third it rather long. feels like a slipping clutch a lil. but obviously its not

was wondering if they have an adjustable band setup on the clutch packs, if so ow do they get adjusted?

ive got silvertop and r32 gtst auto in my 31

only prob ive ever had is it seems to not engage properly above 1st..........lack of trans brake and basically goes to "idle" when ya cruising

pain in the arse thru the hills thats for sure

what rb20 and what auto?
