Series 1 And 2 Ecu's. Are They The Same?

just wondering if r33 series 1 and series 2 ecus are the same. i have a series 1.5 with a series 2 motor, and i have been lent a chipped r33 series 1 ecu. will this work? the letters are different on them. the chipped 1 is TJ and underneath there is other stuff with A1 in one box. mine is CC and has A2 underneath. my main questions is, will it run?

well i stuck it on last night and everything works fine. goes off like a frog in a sock. made a bit of a power difference since it is tuned to run more fuel, and doesn't have boost cut so i can run 14psi.
