We need 10 people to get this pricing, i may have to extend the group buy, i would be willing to purchase a set and hold onto it for anyone in future, but i can't afford anymore than that.

So come on Stagea owners, there must be others that didn't get genuine mats, or need replacing.

I already have a set minus the Drivers side mat (I have a crappy one of those) so I will put my set up for sale really cheap and see if anyone that already has a drivers mat wants the rest, I think they are in reasonable condition but will take pics and post in the "for sale" section later today. If I can move mine then I will be in.

Cheers

Sorry to be a huge pain Brendan,

Would it be possible to buy a drivers mat only? I can't see why that wouldn't be possible unless they will only produce "sets" sorry again, you know I almost have a set...

I may be possible i would have to ask, only problem, it's not going to match your originals.

Just bite the bullet and buy a nice new set

any chance of getting the people that made up the badges for you to make up a bigger one of the stagea symbol say about 10inches or 250mm high as i want to put it on a mat in the cargo area or if you could get a price on a mat for the rear with the logo on it i would be definitely interested as would a few others i suspect?

i was looking at starting a group buy for the same thing but have had trouble finding someone that is willing to make the badges to go on the mats etc. but if you have found someone that is willing to do it saves me a lot more footwork and phone calls

cheers oxford

I'm going to get pricing etc on cargo mats after this group buy is finished, it's not looking good to get 10 people at the moment, I'm a little dissapointed, I thought there would be more interest, ah well not to worry.

I'm going to get pricing for 5 sets of mats instead, so the guys that are interested don't miss out.

In the mean time i could get you a price on getting a larger badge made, If it was made with the badges for the mats , it would be cheaper.

I'll let you know.

I only need back passenger left with a logo...

They will only make them as a set sorry, it's very unlikely they would match colour or style wise.

Buy a new set, you know you want too :D

Not yet, the first page is updated as I get more takers, it's slowly getting there. I'm not sure if I'll get 10 though, I'm gonna get a price for 5 to 9 sets

My supplier is being very nice towards us Stagea owners, and why shouldn't he be, we're very nice people :D he's going to honour the same price for the amount of people I have so far, which is good for everyone.

But the more the merrier, so come on folks, dont miss out.

Ok I'm thinking about it.. one question though...

What are his prices like for other car mats?

Is $129 a good discount?

And what colour would show up the dirt the LEAST? lol

As the first post states, the mats are $99 incl freight with just a standard Nissan badge, or no badging at all.

The discount is, your not paying for freight, it's included in the standard price.

The $129 includes custom badging that I have had designed by an embroiderer, there is 3 badges, one on each of the front mats, and one on the centre rear, as you can see in the pics in the first post.

As for colour which shows up dirt the least, mmmm not sure about that one, I would think grey or charcoal possibly, and if you have grey carpet, they would probably suit the interior the best.

Ok I already have the dark grey/charcoal carpet, do you think charcoal mats or black mats would be better??

if u can get the cargo mat to match im interested in a charcoal set and how much for a heel pad for the drivers mat . :P

Personally I think the charcoal ones would be better, but that's just my opinion.

After this group buy is finished I'll be working on the cargo mats, it's been a big hassle to get these underway, so I'm just working on the floor mats first. The same colours etc will be available when the cargo mats get done.

I asked about a heel pad, but they said they don't do it, equipment is very expensive, and would make the mats uneconomical to make.

    • There are advantages, and disadvantages to remapping the factory.   The factory runs billions of different maps, to account for sooooo many variables, especially when you bring in things like constantly variable cams etc. By remapping all those maps appropriately, you can get the car to drive so damn nicely, and very much so like it does from the factory. This means it can utilise a LOT of weird things in the maps, to alter how it drives in situations like cruise on a freeway, and how that will get your fuel economy right down.   I haven't seen an aftermarket ECU that truly has THAT MANY adjustable parameters. EG, the VAG ECUs are somewhere around 2,000 different tables for it to work out what to do at any one point in time. So for a vehicle being daily driven etc, I see this as a great advantage, but it does mean spending a bit more time, and with a tuner who really knows that ECU.   On the flip side, an aftermarket ECU, in something like a weekender, or a proper race car, torque based tuning IMO doesn't make that much sense. In those scenarios you're not out there hunting down stuff like "the best way to minimise fuel usage at minor power so that we can go from 8L/100km to 7.3L/100km. You're more worried about it being ready to make as much freaking power as possible when you step back on the loud pedal as you come out of turn 2, not waiting the extra 100ms for all the cams to adjust etc. So in this scenario, realistically you tune the motor to make power, based on the load. People will then play with things like throttle response, and drive by wire mapping to get it more "driveable".   Funnily enough, I was watching something Finnegans Garage, and he has a huge blown Hemi in a 9 second 1955 Chev that is road registered. To make it more driveable on the road recently, they started testing blocking up the intake with kids footballs, to effectively reduce air flow when they're on the road, and make the throttle less touchy and more driveable. Plus some other weird shit the yankee aftermarket ECUs do. Made me think of Kinks R34...
    • I do this, I also don't get the joke
    • Return flow cooler will be killing you I reckon. You can certainly push more through a low mount setup but they're good numbers for a stock looking engine bay.  Mine made 345rwkw (hub) at 22psi on 98 with a "highflow" on a stock manifold but it's a long way from a normal high flow or standard engine. I used one of those Turbosmart IWG-75's and it was great with the Motec running closed loop boost with pressure being applied to both sides of the diaphragm.
    • Hey man do you have pic of adaptor plate by any chance I need to match up the bolt holes as my gearbox adaptor plate ones are way off the only bolts of starter motor are matching thanks
