Last night around the 0230 am mark my skyline was attempted to be broken into by petty ass farkers in the early hours of friday morning, attempted through passenger side door by prying the door handle off and trying to get into through the cables, (UNSUCCESSFULL)

mind you though causing 800 dollars damage as the handle and lock assembly is buggered and also that there are numerouse dents and bends around the door latch/handle where they tryed with screwdrivers but just a warning, as this seems to be a common thing around the rochedale underwood area close to the BP service station on logan road in underwood, So be aware that if you have a car around this area be concious of petty farkers going around doing these things.

not only that they pried the fuel door open and stole the fuel cap and drained a full tank of fuel, and alsodid the car which was right next to mine.

Just a general warning to any skyline owners out there or other cars for that matter around that region to be aware of these type of pricks

Cheers

Adam

Theres nothing more i hate then petty fugs, they should be kicked of the planet or better killed. They usually steal because they poor, hopefully they will be poor there hole life and suffer hardship, its called karma mutherfu*&rs.

Sorry to hear about your car man, its a real shame. Thanks for the warning im around that area

I know some places out west (like inland australia) it is common practice leaving the fuelflap open, putting the cap in your glovebox and just stuffing a rag over the filler hole as the indigenous lads with their petrol sniffing will get to your fuel one way or another.

haha yeah good one with the rag! The best fuel economy so far i have ever had 45L to 4.8 Kms woohoo yeah we can only hope the karma catches up with them. But mind u the thing which can possibly sh!t me off more would be if they do it again to my car, and yeah i did have an alarm but for some fkd up reason it was on valet mode ;) not happy bout that

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
