The power FC being locked isnt the reason for your problems

I would be talking to the tuner that locked it and sorting the tune out asap.

engine light coming on is normally knock or airflow problem.

But as Blitz said whoever tuned it last has locked the powerfc so you couldnt fiddle with anything, you obviously need to go back to that tuner and get them to unlock it and sort out the maps.

if the tuner doesnt know why the check engine light is coming on and why it doesnt idle properly then i would suggest a new tuner. the ign map being locked is an annoyance will need to be removed if its the knocking causing the engine light to come on (and if u want it tuned properly).

users with datalogit or apexi fc pro can unlock it for you

where are you located

the tuner says the ignition map was locked from factory and that if i wanted to get it unlocked i would have to send it back to apexi in japan, they said that they used a progarmme im pretty sure they said they used datalogit on the laptop to do it, but after they set the ignition map on the laptop and you turn the car off than you start it back up again everything changes back to normal so the only thing you can do is set it on the hand controller everytime you start it again and still it runs like crap and the engine light still comes on, so wat can i do? or who can i go to? i live in Canberra and thanx for the suggestions
