167+ or 157 retail,

trade is still more then 125 each

by my reckoning if retail is $167 trade should be around $100. previous earls accounts were 40% off retail. maybe give them a call they may sort you out for volume purchase. either way it definately should be less than $125 and I would say they keep stock.

Guys stock is still very low on most parts - these kits have been quite popular, so if ordering please be advised there will be a wait

Hi,

For just the filter kit, it shouldnt be very long - i can check tommorrow and let you know, im pretty sure they're in stock, its the thermostats that are low/out of stock at the moment :ninja:

im after the termo and core but am wanting stainless braided lines. will the just jap relocator kit with braided line fit the termo and core???

As long as the connections are the same, yes, i dont have the justjap fitting sizes so i cant tell you for sure though

(sorry for the late reply)

How long are the hoses?

Is it a DIY to connect all the fittings on this hose?

Still no pics of an installation of this kit so have to ask...On the mounting brakets that come with it: Does the cooler end up with the pipes connected to the cooler sideways or on top when fitted in front of the radiator?

Edited by Edge

You can mount the cooler up or on its site, its best mounted upright so both hoses from to the top of the cooler

the kit comes ready to install,

u just cut the hose to the size you need them install it,

there is 4 thermostats left

this buy is becoming a very big problem, none of the local suppliers have any of the perma cool gear in stock till the end of the year and all my gear is sold out and my order from the states wont be here till late this year

so please find out if stock is in stock or when its coming before placing a order

nothign has gone to plan with this group buy ;)

just wondering if the kit can be fitted without the thermostat for now until the thermostats become instock?

cheers

Jeremy

I want a cooler, single filter relocation kit and a thermostat.

Let me know when stock is available so I can pay for the gear.

No worries

    • I forgot you have a Nistune ECU. Use Nistune to do all the tests I mentioned instead of faffing with 30+ year old electrical connectors. You can read MAF volts off that too, there are reference values in the service manual to tell you roughly what it should be in different conditions.
    • No. I think it might be the AFM. Hence the use of the terms "swaptronics", which implies the use of swapping out electronics for the purpose of diagnosis. It's about the only way to prove that a small/niggling/whatever problem with an AFM or a CAS or similar is actually caused by that AFM/CAS/whatever. A known good item swapped in that still gives the same problem is likely to be caused somewhere else. They're all the same. Spraying AFMs with cleaner is an each way bet between cleaning it and f**king it.
    • Oh wow! This might actually work amazingly. Do you know the ratio of the diff? I was told the only thing you need to make sure of is if the front & rear diff ratios are the same. Ours is a 4.083 Thanks!
    • You think its the AFM? I know its a common issues on R32s. I find it coincidental how this issue raised right after cleaning the fuel system. As everything except the fuel system was fine before. I tried running it with the IACV unplugged but did not notice a difference and still stalled. However, the RPM gauge is not in the cluster right now, so I will need to connect the laptop again and use Nistune to check the RPM. I will check this weekend.
