Free Emissions Testing

As the title says.

I was browsing the NSW RTA site and came across this RTA. Its down near the bottom.

Has anyone taken advantage of this?

One way to reduce emissions: Don't rev the engine and avoid excessive acceleration and braking LOL

what happens if you dont pass whilst your doing that test? do they defect you??

nothing happens.....i've done one, only because i'm planning to get all my mods engineered.

I failed and i'm yet to go back. No defects......the guy at penrith RTA is good too, explains what the contributing factors are to why you failed.

I'd speak to nathan from grey imports........very helpful and a nice guy too. He took care of a friends R32 gtr too, passed with no problems.

agreed about the penrith rta emissions guy! Michael! He is awesome! so very helpful in explaning, and even helped me out when i had my defects, by letting me run a fair few times etc..
