 hay guys, i finally got my skyline in my drive way. well i need a dif and a new windscreen but apart from that it all good, i was thinkin about making it a sleeper, but my income to do that and keep up with the price of petrol and the amount of driving i do is just insain, so i want to emprove the looks of the engine bay, i thought about replacing the raditor hoses with thoes steel braided ones and maybe putting one of thoes support rails that sit on top of the shockes that go accross the engine on but what else is their that i could do to make it look appealing, i want it make people go wow when they look under the hood. for thoese of you that want to know its a R31 skyline GXE 3.0 RB30 motor with an auto trans.

cheers. shaun :)

Welcome to the R31 car ownership club. The tech info page at www.r31skylineclub.com is your best friend. The best look for an engine bay is a meticulously clean one. A strut brace for your car will do nothing for its appearance, or it function. Clean, and shiny always makes people go WOW.

yes.. pull everything apart and clean every part induvidually for true cleaness, and paint stuff like the rocker cover a nice colour, nothing too bright otherwise an ignorant cop might assume its done up.

taking everything out and respraying the bay is good too..
