hey lee, u got smoked by a chick?? u poor boy :) haha jk, was a good meet, and the stageas definately added some good variety to the long list of skylines.

was about 100 cars all up i read on the WA thread

nice to meet you guys and gals too, we gotta get some good day shots and a nice day cruise when the weather is sunny :) and i need more power to keep up haha :D

heres another shot, the rest are way too dark to see, and my mate ended up locking his keys in his soarer and he had to smash the rear window to get in, which he wasnt happy with them being sooo rare.

ahahaha yeah she smoked me but seeing the smile and her punching the sky afterwards was well worth it (im ready for u next time tho wildcat :P ) . Yeah i reckon a meet n photo shoot for sure, just let me know when an i'll be there.

Sorry to hear bout ya mates window, nice guy n nice car!!

Those videos are an understatement of how good Brads car sounds and looks!!!! :P

Have to say also that Lee's stag blue is mad...never seen a dark blue before !!

Cheers wildcat!! hopefully all u see of it next time is the boot haha J/K :)

Tia (the chick in the car with me) dared me to do that and she would buy me a drink...never bloody happened and i looked like the dick!! :P

I agree the smile was quite wide....thought you would whip my butt seens i am not even used to the car yet!! and next time i will be prepared...only hope that your seeing my boot and not me seeing yours!!

did anyone take any more pictures??

no more piccies i dont think as night cruises suck for decent photos. stagea meet in a few weeks i reckon in the daytime for some group photos at a nice location, and then some 2wd burnout videos if ya lucky (4wd aint workin yet as wiring was done dodgy by a well known local workshop and its wrecking autronics tps signal for some reason) :P

Brad, I live in Pearsall so yeah another bod from north of the river - seems the more popular choice for Stageas, huh?

Yanchep or something around there sounds good

Funny a few Stageas around where I live but never see any

Cheers, Al

I am not too sure yet compliance place is applying for import approval at the moment so I will keep you informed. Yanchep sounds good for a cruise though. Go for a drive have a BBQ compare cars take some pics etc etc

There is at least 4 Stageas I know of at the moment south of the river but again I rarely see them. There is a white series 2 that I always see on either Armadale Rd/ Beeliar Dirve or Yangebup Drive, Light Green Series 1 I have seen at Garden City Twice and also same car on Karel Ave, Dark Green one in Munster and Dark Blue see on the freeway heading north in the mornings but I am guessing none of these owners are on the forums

With all these Stageas around, makes you wonder where they are all hiding all day - not that many on the forums

I see a white Series I some times parked on Elder St during weekday mornings.

All the ones I have seen so far have been parked, never seen one actually moving yet (apart from my own of course)

ive seen a white one in mindarie a few times with plates [i THINK I] and a couple of other older people in a few pearl white ones, and a painter drives a white one with a big cooler on the front.

theres a black one with black rims getting around too that was from autowholesale a while ago.

they sound pretty common now which is a bummer :)

still love the looks on peoples faces when they see it but (and hear it), makes me laugh everytime  had a older guy almost break his neck trying to rip his head out his car window to have a look as i went past the opposite way on friday arvo haha :)

BTW since our rear windows are all tinted pitch black. Are we actuallly allowed to tint (lightly 20%) on the front windowa?

nope, its gotta be legal on the 2 front windows and rear back glass, which is 35% in WA from memory. im gonna tint my fronts and rear back glass anyway the same as the back side windows to make it look better.

pretty cheap to do and if i get a yellow sticker its only $150 worth and ill just redo it after the sticker comes off hehe

hello to all, im another stagea owner south of the river (maddington).

I just purchased it on friday from a forum member, ive seen a couple around every once in a while but i will be keeping my eye out more often now.

mine is stock, red and has the plates [sTAGEA].

see ya's around!

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
