beef: yes she works at coles in newstead, and that is (was) her car in the car park...

well thast no good....

i wonder if she was comprehensivley insured or not....

if not shes F**KED, and she will be paying off a huge loan for no reason...

might have to try and sell some parts that are not F**KED.... like the hand brake surround and indicator switch... everything else would be ruined i rekkon.... ;)

i'm pretty sure if you have finace on a car, you have to have full compo.

Not the case buddy.... but your half right..

If you were to borrow $15,000 via a "CAR LOAN" then one of the pre-requisites is that it must be Comprehensivley Insured, otherwise they wont lend you the money...

BUT...

If you were to borrow $15,000 via a "PERSONAL LOAN" and then use that money to buy a car then you dont have to have any insurance at all, because you could be using that Personal loan money for anything...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~QUOTE FROM the DRIVER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
"hey guys ive come on here to tell you the whole story, so you know eaxactly what happened.
i had a few drinks earlier on in the night, at about 9pm, our friends were being chased by these people ( wont mention any names) and these people who were chasing my friends were threatining to kill them, we pulled over to the side of the road and waited for them to drive past, then we decided to chase these people to stop them, i was perfectly fine to drive at the time..... i came up to ware the slight bend is and the car was doen 120 and i could feel it sliding out from underneath me, so i lightly tapped the breaks, because if i had locked them up we would have all been dead, then the tapping of the breaks didnt controll the car so i locked them up and i could see the car sliding toward the pole so i tried to spin her into a 360, and if i hadnt done that we would all be dead into the pole, we hit the amcor railing flipped 5-6 times and i remeber the windscreen smashing and then hanging upside down in the car.
for all interest my bretho reading was 0.09 thankyou very much
shaun has started shit about that because no cop would have a right to leak that information at all until all of this has blown over..
the cops will be speaking to shaun about jumping the fence and leaking pictures of my car on the internet, so now you people know the whole story, so if ur gunner sit on here and trout ya mouth off about stories that are not true, i suggest you come to the people it actually happened to and find out the real story."
Statement from the driver (Erica).....Just if you can't be stuffed going onto the slow loading nissansilvia site!
I'll agree with that.^^^^^^ She says that she had a few drinks earlier in the evening then says that she was fine to drive, then tells us that she blew 0.09.
Quote "for all interest my bretho reading was 0.09 thankyou very much"
uhmmm does this not make sense? it's almost as though she is proud that she only blew 0.04 over the limit?
ah well like someone else said, drink drive, bloody idiot.
I would like to know which is the greater danger to her friends:
Her - driving as she describes
or
The people trying to 'kill them'?
They both have something in common. Surely they can all get along?
Do everyone a favour. Stay off the road.
pppffffttt ...hahahahahahaha yeah her post is just stupid!
And for the people in the car, They known she was drinking and still got in to a car with a drunk (0.09)!......Well I don't really feel for them at all, they knew she was drunk, so jump in!. ......Just a stupid immature accident!
hopfuly she wont be back on our roads for a while!
(drink driving charges usally get the book thown at them)
no pitty from me!
I dont know! :( .... She's obiously immature, something that does not mix if you Amp up a skyline or any car under any influence !
You can peptalk or insult her all you like if you think she will learn a better Attitude! But i doubt it will help utill she really scares ,hurts herself or grows up.
The worst part about it is that it might be someone else she hurts before she learns a better attitude.
Hard to feel any pity for that much stupidity. If anything she's just made herself look like an absolute bloody moron.
Let's just hope she doesn't end up driving anything more powerful than a pushbike.
    • Nah, they'll do it without a receipt, tell em roughly when it was, that it was cash, youll likely only get store credit, but that gets you some dollars towards the newer better shovel, or other item you need/want later.   Still take it back and have a crack at returning it.
    • Nah. Was just wondering if you were having a small stroke or if there was some slur/gaf/inside joke that I wasn't aware of.
    • That was a fark up, it's Salamanca Place I was thinking of. And now I'm curious as to what potential slur/gaf I have caused with Salamander Road, ha ha!
    • Actually everyone on the roads was really well behaved. The only person that did any minor tailgating was a local hoon in a Turbo Focus. Unfortunately we weren't going the same way so there was no grand initial D touge battle. Lots of people pulled over and let me through. The amount of "Hey man nice car, omg skyline, nice 34 man woo" was suprising. Like really suprising. Like almost annoying. My partner was obviously surprised, she'd never seen anyone in the real world point out the car/like the car/want to chat about the car before, so to have like 3 people per day mention it was notable, I could finally say SEE? SOMEONE THINKS THEY'RE COOL. Everyone was also pretty suprised about the weather. Every day was dry and about ~13-14C. Mount Wellington had a sign that said they close the gates at 9pm and I was heading up there at about ~7:30. It was VERY apparent that conditions were getting significantly worse by the minute on the way up and down. The road on the mountain was terrible though, it's no driving road. I have various suspension related questions now. Luckily it was only about 20 minutes from where we were staying to the top of the mountain as said Google maps. We only had the 2 nights in Hobart. We went to the Farm Gate Market though which was really good - And went down to the Hastings Thermal springs/caves down there during the day. I'd definitely be up for going back again, so luckily there's a few more sights yet to see. Didn't get to do the west coast/queenstown/cradle mountain so this was supposed to be a 'scouting' trip anyway of sorts if I were to one day do/take part in/organize a more car-focused trip. As for the boat, it wasn't bad. Well it was bad, but not in the way you're thinking. We did the night trip which leaves at 6:45 (though you have to be there ~2 hours earlier) and arrives the next morning at about 6am. There is nothing to do on the ship. If you plan accordingly and bring a book/tablet/show to watch/charger you can just chill out, take some Travacalm and just sleep through it. The food there is an extremely basic buffet that costs $32 a plate, or $14 for a $3 pizza. The way back we had a travel kettle and a few different types of cup noodles and made our own tea/coffee in the room. This was a far superior way to do it. At the very least book one of the rooms with beds. I guess as we were in the off season we didn't have room mates. You get an option for rooms with 4 beds (2x bunks) or a room with just the two bottom beds. There's also some option for a deluxe queen bed but it's much pricer. We've been on sleeper trains in Asia before so we figured this is similar (and it was)
