hi guys

Am wanting to improve my exhaust flow, have 2530's, any recommendations on using dump pipe, exhaust manifolds for RB26dett? Have a kakimoto front pipe in place already.

Options so far are:

HKS Dump kit (dont know where can get manifolds from)

Tomei Dumps and exhaust manifolds

Nismo Dumps

Power Enterprise Dumps (bit $$$)

Dont want to go for the Ebay options at this stage. thanks any input would be appreciated.

A topic that i have been umming about for some time.

i wouldnt bother with ebay dumps at all. as they are just hks copies? (correct???)

But thinking along the terms of a company who makes things that just do their job, mines would be a nice step. they are very farmilir with 25/30's also. and i would think tomei would be a good go aswell..

What i would like to know is split dump's are they really that good compared to something like mines and tomei's

i was thinking of getting the trust kit. as it includes a larger than what i have now front pipe. and will match up with the rest of the exhaust i also have but looks like a nightmare to fit.

Now getting down to straight up facts..

Tomei outlet is 76.3

Mines which is 70 but appears to have some sorty of small split? or just an odd shape..

Now the trust front/dump

70main 38split 80end

i've also seen versions of the trust with a bit of flex.. which i hope is what trust make as that thing would be the worst to fit without flex involved.

And hks 60.5 and 38

Power enterprise cant find any information about them at all tho

Also look into your cast manifolds. and having the extrude honed. As you will find that alot of aftermarket stainless ones are prone to cracking.

thanks guys have decided to go for the Tomei items....the exhaust manifolds and dumps. have thought of doing that the extruded n honed option...but for not much more can go for the tomei ones...with the cracking ...read a thread by SK and how not many people take into consideration of exhaust supports so will look into that placing more supports if possible and not get a crack in the manifold. hopefully will get order in as soon as i do my tax return :(
