can anyone tell me if and where in this state can i get my coilovers repaired, revalved,i have been told that some where up the north west there is some one ,does anyone have any info they could pass on? cheers jb :)
Fulcrum are the only Aussie agent... There are a couple of other smaller joints on the mainland but I wouldnt trust them, plus no warranty...

As Justin said, Fulcrum are the only Australian agent and they are VERY expensive.

If you really want to keep the Teins then you have to weigh up your options:

Shipping them to and from brisvegas.

Repair costs (includes labour and parts)

Overall price for repair VS new shocks.

Like wogboy said he bought bilsteins (so did i) instead of getting others repaired, it not only worked out cheaper for me the car was set up better with them as the TEINS were just to hard for our road conditions and what i wanted to do.

At the end of the day JB its upto you and if your willing to spend the money on them, if you are then send em off and get Fulcrum to do them, if you dont want to then maybe look at selling your 2nd hand to recover a little bit of money and buy something else :)

Cheers GMB

Fulcrum Supension in QLD are the Tein agents and do all that stuff, but very expensive.

Never found anyone in Tas, just bought some Bilsteins instead.

ok ,what do you call expensive? whats the sort of price range around the bilsteins?, and are they adjustable?

I was just after lighter Tien springs for my R34, they wanted $650 + Del. For rebuild I reckon they ask at a mininum $150 a shock.

SAU have a gp buy going on for Bilstien & White Line springs (for R32, R33 & R34s), they are around $1200 deliverd (4 shocks & 4 springs) & sold my Tiens on E-bay for $900, so new suspension only cost me round $300.

Tiens are O/K if there are on a track car but on Tassie roads they are crap! rattle & knock plus way to stiff! IMHO.

so what you are saying is you have a better ride on the road ,and kept good performance ,but are you able to adjust the height ? because at the moment i can to suit my needs for ground clearance.

That's right.

Bilstiens are still height adjustable via circlip.

yeah, as you said there are multiple groves under the spring seat that alow your to adjust the height... mine are set to the lowest at the rear and are second from the bottom at the front.

You will also notice that they are reccomended by 'sydneykid' in the suspension section and offered by him with a package in the group buy section.

I personally have purchaed the whole package he is offereng and can't wait to install it and to have it all aligned to his specs! He appeares to have tested a lot and to know his shit plus there has been an aweful lot of positive feedback from his work.

Worth looking in to at least!!
