wouldnt bother racing you in the vl... it was never going long enough to race you :wave:.. why dont you bring your car to bris and seen what a real dyno is.. do the kangaroos help operate the dyno wheels in biggendan or is it just the hill billies there??

the dyno is from a performance shop in brisbane so...there goes that idea haha...lol my old vl was on the road everyday...probably was more realible then the skyline when i think about it actually haha

might i suggest your first modification for your GTR since its completey stock..is buy new headlight bulbs those orange dull bulbs r really boring and annoying by the looks in your sig.. lol

only way to tell if it really has 279hp@wheels is test n tune if i get a decent mph then its a correct reading if not then that dyno is very happy along with every other dyno in shootout mode cause they all give out nice readings,vls in class of there own nothin is tuffer then one..!!specially not a bloody 32 eww

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
