I appreciate what Slaughter may've been thinking, in that there are cyclists, motorcyclists, even car and Skyline(a Skyline is more than a car...LOL)drivers out there that do stupid, dangerous and annoying things. What pisses me off is when those d1ckhe@ds get all of us tarred with the same brush!

Oh, yeah; PK? Nice photo of Dorian. I saw him live hear in Canberra many years ago. FARK, 'huge' doesn't come close...

exiting jerra onto lanyon drive. people who zoom down the inside lane on the tompsitt dual carriageway, past everyone queing in the outside lane for a left turn at the end onto lanyon, hit the roundabout, go all the way around and then having right of way against people queing on tompsitt, force them to wait.

apologies if this is confusing to non jerra people, anyone there will know what i mean.

problem is while it's bloody rude its probably legal.

2nd that!

I know exactly what you mean Scooby and it isnt actually legal... I know first hand because my brother was fined for doing it.

Apparently the Police officer said that if they can prove that you did it deliberately its the same fine as you would get for turning left from the right lane at a regular intersection.

P.S. I also get p_ssed off with idiots who do this. :)

Oh really that would be awesome meeting dorian your heaps lucky, i meet Lee priest when he was here not long ago. Photo is of Marcus Ruhl.

I dont care if they pay rego for their car though, they pay rego for there car so they can drive there car on the road, This doesnt mean that they can ride there bike on the road for free!.

I dont mind that they ride on the road for free, just that they expect us to give them right of passage! If you want to be treated like a car, either 1) Buy a car and drive it with rego or 2) Pay bike registration. (this is about push bikes)

And motor bikes always want to be treated like a car (when it suits them) cars cant go to the front of the line at the lights!!! So if they want to be treated like a car then act like a car!!!!

My 2 cents worth, might be worth less on some peoples eyes :D

yeah true , but they should wait in line like the rest of us! What gives them right of passage though?

I don't do it when I ride, but it only cheeses me off a tiny bit. Its not legal, but seems to be one of those ignored laws.

Like arms out the windows of cars - everyone seems to do it in ACT. Has anyone ever been pinged for it?

    • Hi GTSBoy, Excuse my ignorance but what does a "Bad" Knee point mean ?
    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
