I tell you what pisses me off....I've been looking for a part for my car for three weeks now, anyway i found that someone had it so i called him. That was all good, told him ill PM him after we talked so he remembers that I want pics so not to forget and make sure we were talking about the same part. Anyway a week later and several PM's this guy didnt get back to me so I said it in his thread and finally I get a reply quoting me tripple the price we first talked about. Now WTF!! If your selling any items on the forums it should be your duty to treat them like a customer of your own because your making money FFS. So after waiting three weeks ive had to say i dont want it coz it has been bullshit the way he has gone about all this, not to mention trippling the f**king price.

This one is in relation to ACT people bagging out NSW drivers that was mentioned earlier on in the piece...

Went out this morning around my good old local town of Queanbeyan to do a little shopping. Left my house to go over the bridge over Queanbeyan River to find bumper to bumper traffic full of ACT drivers. This hassled me a little but any back up of traffic would annoy anyone I would say...

The thing that really ticks me off is the fact of WHY DO ACT PEOPLE NEED TO COME TO QUEANBEYAN TO SHOP? There's nothing extra here that you cannot get in the ACT... Well except for the fact that they like to use up our resources such as petrol because it's "cheaper" (even though you use that petrol up that you gain in coming here any way), groceries are not cheaper so why the hell do you need to be here!?

I was out for half an hour and had almost 12 accidents with stupid ACT 'drivers' if you can call them that, who were swarming through Queanbeyan like a plague of rats! They cut you off, barge their way through because they're impatient, don't know where they are going (hello Queanbeyan is small and it's called a MAP) and all in all drive dangerously!

Sure if you have friends here come and visit, but don't use up all of our sh!t when you have got your own back in your own state!! Don't pay out Queanbeyan because apparently it's a sh!thole to you ACT people, then why come here? F*%k off back to boganville the lot of you!! ;)

N.B I AM NOT PAYING OUT ALL ACT DRIVERS, JUST THE ONES THAT COME HERE 24/7 DRIVE LIKE IDIOTS AND YET STILL PAY US OUT FOR LIVING IN QUEANBEYAN AND BEING COUNTRY BUMPKINS, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T GO NEAR THE BORDER! :D

I  QBN

Here's another thing;old,face-hard-up-against-the-steering-wheel,nearly blind pensioners that CLEARLY shouldn't have a licence, wobbling all over the righthand lane at 85km/hr on the 110 zoned highway... I swear,I'll wave a magnet over their pacemakers if I get the oppertunity.

Here's a quick one.....I hate people who walk to an intersection when there is no traffic, stop, press the walk button, wait for the walk button to go green and then cross meanwhile having to make the 1 or 2 cars that happened to come by stop, wait and then go again when they could have just fu**ing crossed without having to press the god damned button!!!!!

or even worse! those that press the button, then notice their is no traffic so cross anyway then after they have cleared the intersection the walk light goes green so they are off in the distance and have stopped the fu**ing traffic when there was no need!! OH GOD I HATE THEM!!!

haha jayce is one of the most placid guys i reckon i have met :) although he will always tell it like it is which is good :/

Thanks Leech;I am usually quite a stable, well adjusted type-or at least I try to be. But,occasionally,I have to let the venom fly... It seems I've posted a topic to let others do the same! I'm glad I can help people vent,as it's quite therapeutic,if you all didn't notice! :P

i really hate COMCEN internet provider with a passion .been complaing of poor speeds for 5 weeks . now they wont even talk to me .the person who is ment to deal with the problems named con wont answer emails or ph calls or anything he is a real prick . ive reported them to the tio now and it is in there hands .im stuck in a contract till feb they wont fix the speed issue and wont let me churn over without paying a penalty .stay away from comcen real pricks to deal with .........

think some people in here really need to take a chill pill.

Meh... it is exam time, everyone i know is strung out.

11 more days and i will be as chilled as can be (well sorta chilled ill be up in Far North QLD on the reef)

Oh i forgot to add that this morning i had not one, not two but THREE things i bought DELIVERED, I didnt have to drive to the post office....They came at different times too, three different contractors. VERY happy about that. And i got my radiator hoses from nengun, my stinger wiring kit, and a new watch.

Still waiting on my Nismo floor mats (second attempt), alarm add ons and the HKS recirc. adapter. If they are delivered as well (and not lost) I will be stoked

I don't know if this pisses anyone else off, but it annoys me abit, people that go 80 in a 60 zone, but when it gets to 80 zone, they stay on 80.

This tells me that they are willing to go 20 over the speed limit when there are pedestrians around and more turns, but when it gets to the highway where there are less pedestrians they don't have the skill to go straight.

Here's another thing;old,face-hard-up-against-the-steering-wheel,nearly blind pensioners that CLEARLY shouldn't have a licence, wobbling all over the righthand lane at 85km/hr on the 110 zoned highway... I swear,I'll wave a magnet over their pacemakers if I get the oppertunity.

yaf28f-see my earlier post. I think you have a few supporters on this one!

damn right, if you can't do the speed limit in normal conditions then they really shouldn't have a licence.

arghhhh, comming back from work today. something worse than my last pev, going up sulwood into weston creek. behind a jacked up old jeep that was struggling to get 60-70 in the 80 zone up hill. Was stuck behind it with and a slight queue building up behind me. Then it starts to even out when it reaches the suburbs that goes into 60 zone. I slow down ( I rarely speed in suburbian areas) to 60 then the jeep speeds up to around 90 because it was even road. what an idiot. I like to see what the stopping power of the car is.

    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
    • See if you can thermal epoxy a heatsink or two onto it?
    • The other problem was one of those "oh shit we are going to die moments". Basically the high spec Q50s have a full electric steering rack, and the povo ones had a regular hydraulic rack with an electric pump.  So couple of laps into session 5 as I came into turn 2 (big run off now, happily), the dash turned into a christmas tree and the steering became super heavy and I went well off. I assumed it was a tyre failure so limped to the pits, but everything was OK. But....the master warning light was still on so I checked the DTCs and saw – C13E6 “Heat Protection”. Yes, that bloody steering rack computer sitting where the oil cooler should be has its own sensors and error logic, and decided I was using the steering wheel too much. I really appreciated the helpful information in the manual (my bold) POSSIBLE CAUSE • Continuing the overloading steering (Sports driving in the circuit etc,) “DATA MONITOR” >> “C/M TEMPERATURE”. The rise of steering force motor internal temperature caused the protection function to operate. This is not a system malfunction. INSPECTION END So, basically the electric motor in the steering rack got to 150c, and it decided to shut down without warning for my safety. Didn't feel safe. Short term I'll see if I can duct some air to that motor (the engine bay is sealed pretty tight). Long term, depending on how often this happens, I'll look into swapping the povo spec electric/hydraulic rack in. While the rack should be fine the power supply to the pump will be a pain and might be best to deal with it when I add a PDM.
    • And finally, 2 problems I really need to sort.  Firstly as Matt said the auto trans is not happy as it gets hot - I couldn't log the temps but the gauge showed 90o. On the first day I took it out back in Feb, because the coolant was getting hot I never got to any auto trans issues; but on this day by late session 3 and then really clearly in 4 and 5 as it got hotter it just would not shift up. You can hear the issue really clearly at 12:55 and 16:20 on the vid. So the good news is, literally this week Ecutek finally released tuning for the jatco 7 speed. I'll have a chat to Racebox and see what they can do electrically to keep it cooler and to get the gears, if anything. That will likely take some R&D and can only really happen on track as it never gets even warm with road use. I've also picked up some eye wateringly expensive Redline D6 ATF to try, it had the highest viscosity I could find at 100o so we will see if that helps (just waiting for some oil pan gaskets so I can change it properly). If neither of those work I need to remove the coolant/trans interwarmer and the radiator cooler and go to an external cooler....somewhere.....(goodbye washer reservoir?), and if that fails give up on this mad idea and wait for Nissan to release the manual 400R
    • So, what else.... Power. I don't know what it is making because I haven't done a post tune dyno run yet; I will when I get a chance. It was 240rwkw dead stock. Conclusion from the day....it does not need a single kw more until I sort some other stuff. It comes on so hard that I could hear the twin N1 turbos on the R32 crying, and I just can't use what it has around a tight track with the current setup. Brakes. They are perfect. Hit them hard all day and they never felt like having an issue; you can see in the video we were making ground on much lighter cars on better tyres under brakes. They are standard (red sport) calipers, standard size discs in DBA5000 2 piece, Winmax pads and Motul RBF600 fluid, all from Matty at Racebrakes Sydney. Keeping in mind the car is more powerful than my R32 and weighs 1780, he clearly knows his shit. Suspension. This is one of the first areas I need to change. It has electronically controlled dampers from factory, but everything is just way too soft for track work even on the hardest setting (it is nice when hustling on country roads though). In particular it rolls into oversteer mid corner and pitches too much under hard braking so it becomes unstable eg in the turn 1 kink I need to brake early, turn through the kink then brake again so I don't pirouette like an AE86. I need to get some decent shocks with matched springs and sway bars ASAP, even if it is just a v1 setup until I work out a proper race/rally setup later. Tyres. I am running Yoko A052 in 235/45/18 all round, because that was what I could get in approximately the right height on wheels I had in the shed (Rays/Nismo 18x8 off the old Leaf actually!). As track tyres they are pretty poor; I note GTSBoy recently posted a porker comparo video including them where they were about the same as AD09.....that is nothing like a top line track tyre. I'll start getting that sorted but realistically I should get proper sized wheels first (likely 9.5 +38 front and 11 +55 at the rear, so a custom order, and I can't rotate them like the R32), then work out what the best tyre option is. BTW on that, Targa Tas had gone to road tyres instead of semi slicks now so that is a whole other world of choices to sort. Diff. This is the other thing that urgently needs to be addressed. It left massive 1s out of the fish hook all day, even when I was trying not too (you can also hear it reving on the video, and see the RPM rising too fast compared to speed in the data). It has an open diff that Infiniti optimistically called a B-LSD for "Brake Limited Slip Diff". It does good straight line standing start 11s but it is woeful on the track. Nismo seem to make a 2 way for it.
