cheers mate, thanks heaps.....more if you could, its not suppose to be completely flush with the guard when looking from side is it????

Also is that a carbon fibre wing?or have you just put vinyl on top?if so id like to know how

looks very nice

which is lighter carbon fibre or fibreglass??

i think if your just buying the small wing... it should be level with the rear, though some people have varied designs.

the pics are of a mould we made from a boot with that lip on it then blended in... sits pretty flush with side guards..

its a full carbon fibre bootlid. weighs 4.5kgs i think my GTR bootlid is 26-28kgs so thats a big weight difference if you ask me.

here's a few more pics..

yeah.. made it myself.. along with the rest of the carbon stuff on my car..

i like the boot with that lip moulded in makes my 33 look tough..

Very tough indeed! I'm looking to buy a flat boot or drift wing..

Do you know if the flat carbon boots from carmate are any good?

As for the high level brake light.. just pull the one out of your stock wing and let it sit in your parcel tray! :)

carmate stuff is just fibreglass stuff with 1 layer if carbon... good for people on a budget that still want the carbon look... i've done repairs to so much crappy carbon products bought elsewhere though.. so if your buying products like that just take good care of them... keep them out of the sun as prolonged exposure to sunlight makes the resins they use go all funny colours...

hey r33madd, im selling mine on trademe, which i bought and havent used. Pm me for more details.Im selling to get a carbon version of both bootlid and wing lip.

Are you able to post up the link to the trademe auction or p.m the link, do you have any pics of it and how much do you want for itl??im very interested.cheers

will that bootlid + drift lip fit on a series 1 r33 skyline gtst coupe?or are the gtr boots slightly different

anyhow, how much we looking at for both?

the boot is $1650 in carbon or $880 in fibreglass....

both ?? it is just 1 its a replacement boot with that lip built onto it. was moulded like that...

and i'm sure all 33's are the same boot. GTR or GTST

oh and the boot hasn't seen the rain yet? but yeah it would pool up, just take it for a spin all the water will be gone in no time...

    • Resizing injectors in Nistune can be done a couple of ways, and there are a couple of ways that you can make a mess of it. The tuner needs to be really aware of the effects of whichever approach he uses (either K, or TIM). They are both easy enough to "get the injector size right" to run the engine. But little details like old start enrichment and hot start are affected differently, depending on which boxes you check.
    • Pretty safe to say almost everyone that has tuned their own car has experienced this issue. The difference being that we have our laptop in the car and when it happens, it's literally 10 seconds of tuning to sort it.  Would you be happy to plug in your laptop and sort this yourself? It is a very simple process and there is no risk of harming your engine (if you are worried about that).
    • Yeah thats the next step now, either they wil or i will take out for a drive to work and go straight their after work and see is we get the same issues 🤞  thought i try my luck here too, never know someone else might have had the same issue but thanks for the reply
    • Basically your tuner needs to drive it for the 30 min (or whatever) to create the same conditions then check the ECU settings and sensors at that time. They may not be excited to because that takes them 30 min rather than just opening the bonnet and seeing the problem straight away.... Hot start is generally not as tricky as cold start, but there would be a table for fuel enrichment vs coolant temp as a starting point
    • Yeah, they all cant say anything for sure as everything is working fine . Said unable to find an issue untill it stops again. Could mist likely be CAS wiring or IAS valve issue but again not 100%
