Personally prefer the Gunmetal ones bro - they look tough as - but you gotta go at least 18's, please!

Yeh i know i need rims thats for sure. I was going to fit my mates 18'' Impuls with deep dish rear but i put them on the back to test fit & my car is too low for them with the teins it scrubs the guards even on the slightest angle or bump  im happy with the car as is at the moment get sick of spending money sometimes.. My car was looking way too plain with the original colour of the rims...

Dude that looks hot.. nice kit btw..

But i reckon the stockies look so small from the rear lol..

Im thinking off selling my p1s and going for meisters..

Whos keen on the p1s lol?

wanna get something like this: What you reckon?

Yea its a bit out of my price range as well.. Those are about 2k without rubber.. Plus postage..

So im still thinking about it..

P1- hmm lookin for 1.3k-1.4k without rubber for the fronts.. Rears come with ad07s 40% thread left.. these grip heaps!! 400 plus retail price per tyre...

Anyways, still considering..

Otherwise, i might just professionaly powder coat my rims..

Loving the gtr rims dude.. Suit it well!!

Also quick question.. How did you raise your bonnet from the rear on the sides??

Rubber spacers, the gtr rims are growing on me..I didnt like them at first..

Hey Sid the previuos owner did this mod but it doesnt look had to do at all some small hard rubber spacers maybe 10mm thick , maybe bunnings?? and some longer bolts you would have to hold the bonnet up and fit the bolts and spacers but surely wouldnt be that hard.. F*cken photobucket is messing with my pics ill have to reload that one..

Cheers

only problem is, now the bonnet is pointing right at your face when you have an accident.

There is always a possibilty that it could take your face\head off now..

 Hmmm doesn't sound fun... Standard bonnet posi ftw

    • I mean I agree. I've seemingly never had issues and I have RS4's in the rain, but I drive pretty slow in the rain, and I commute around on the street and pretty much never push it. But it's not like you're going to uncontrollably slide off the street with them in the rain. At least here in Aus. And I say this before I drive to Tassie in Winter. AS above, the term "Semi" is a bit of a misnomer. The ContiSportContact7 is also a "Semi" or a "UHP" tyre. It's the same category as an AD09 in any case.
    • These are not semis. None of the tyres in that comparo are semis. They are UHP tyres. Perfectly streetable. I'm on my second set of AD09, after using a couple of sets of AD08R. On the street. Every day. I get 15-20 thousand km out of them, which is perfectly acceptable. They are a really nice tyre to drive on. I have few, if any, complaints.
    • You'd hope, if it came from ACS, that it wouldn't be that.
    • Or the brand new throwout may be unhappy...
    • Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out
