hey what was your first car hey ?????

i bet it was not that crash hot was it ??

my bros getting a r33 for his first car

mine was a vl

First car I owned was a Bluebird, L20 with some headwork, tuff little car :O

All I was saying, is that perhaps your brother should keep his thoughts to himself instead of attempting to belittle people about what they drive, especially considering that he doesn't even have a licence yet, let alone a car.

.....but I can see where he gets it from, because it seems you also want to play the "holier than thou" game.

On the upside, at least you had the sense to buy something with a Nissan motor in it for your first car. :)

33's are def not slow

Yeah.. those RB20E's are a real powerhouse. >_<

I think its more based on the way they look, particularly the rear...but i guess watever floats your boat (pun intended) :)

:D yeah. would hate to drive a car that has more rwkw's stock standard than a car that needs light modifying to even get to the same power

edit: 33's dont have the agrresive stlying like the 32 and 34 skylines. but to each his own.

they're smooth and sexy

Yeah.. those RB20E's are a real powerhouse. :O

lol... coz all R33's come with RB20E's

sorry that he affended you i will tell him that. remember he is still only teen

i had a blue bird it was like driving a go cart but it was just a car to go to work.

then my blood father gave it away to me sis and then i got the vl

what a f#cking lemon he bourght it for me but from the wreakers and 3 months latter if blow up and was goning to cost me to much $$$ .

so i bourght my old bosses car ea falcon s pack it is not a bad car more take of speed but i realy miss the vl but

it was just something that had balls unlike my car now it just gat blody wheel spin and no grip "may be it is the roads in the country "?

i do apologise to you dont mean to get on anyones nerves

this is like at skool or at some day care centre....

a new toy comes out ... you have to have it to be kewl

or... you have to have one of the latest models like the r33 just say....

the r33 is cheap for waht it is... also the r32... but the r31 isn't the right car for me because of the safty features and the power....

compare a commadore to a skyline.... skylines (2nd hand) are cheper for the power they give you....

while commadores give you that ozzie look and makes you one of the locals :(

btw

what i said about r31s suck and that before... it was a joke lol

so i dont step on peoples toes but peoples have there own likes and diss likes of every car

some you just dont want to even know about.

every one has there own opinion to every thing in life but some people just take it that to far and life is surpose to be living it and having fun :D

not bagging the crap out of each other

skylines is a sports car and each and every ones pride and joy so take care of them

:P:D:D:D

I’m glad you like your car, I was only informing you of why they are referred to as boats and personally I would much rather have my car with its less rwkw from the factory than a 33 which is why I bought a 32. To me there is far more to a car than rwkw's.........

  • 3 weeks later...

in five months i will have the cash for the two. and thyen i can start to have a real car

can some help and tell what is the difference between the r33 s2 gtr &gts whats better i tryed to find topic but i cant find any thing to help (i could just be me?)

is it better to have a turbo or just stock?

i never driven one myself

the only powerfull car i driven was a 66 dodge 318 v8

which was a real nice car to drive, but still not sure

people tell me to get a r34 or r33 gtr but iam not sure on the power , i dont want a too powerfull & fuel guzzler this will be my every day car /work

Datun = Nissan (basically anyway)

I think everyone just needs to just chill out.

All skylines are good. Even the old silhouette that my parents owned!

    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
