Key Remote Help-easy Question

This may sound dumb, but i cannot figure out what this button is ment to do?

I was thinking maybe Boot Release? And maybe i have a blown fuse or something?

????= horn usually on those rest looks right. that looks like a late 32 or early 33 remote.

interesting. seen differnt ones on those. still say horn they didn't do a boot pop on them. (that said I have never seen it factory.)

Does it do anything if you hold it down for a few seconds instead of just pressing it?

I had an old maxima before the line with the same remote as that and it set the alarm off if you held it down.

Just tried holding it down, pressing multiple combinations of buttons, but no result. So if anyone has the same key i would love to know what theres does

Also does anyones indicators flash when they unlock and lock there R33. Its just so hard to tell if your a few meters away from the car listening for a clunk when the doors lock

they didn't do anything other than lock/unlock. the unit is a dealer add on and its ALL in the drivers door. with a bit of modding you can make it do the indicators. you need a relay and two 7A diodes to do it.

there is no elec components in the boot for a remote open, so it wont be for that, but i have no idea what it may be for

didnt think they had it factory.

tear the door down and you will see a module inside the rear of the door. that is the remote unit.
