Hi Guys,

Had a few unfortunate things occur over the past few months, including the death of my father -my only relative - meaning my Skylines plans are on hold - at least for a while. Not super happy about it I can tell you. There are some big issues, not least of which right now is space.

Thats where you can help

I need to get rid of a heap of R33 GTS front cut leftover bits. There is a whole heap of interior panels, blinker arms - wiper bottles, brake lines, glovebox, heater box and piping, - look heaps of stuff. I'll get some photos over the next few days - but its free to a good home. It got to be at least $500 worth of stuff.

So, whats the catch? I'd really prefer a known SAU ACT memeber gets it, so its given good use around the ACT - not just someone who'll sell for max profits - if I had more time I'd do that myself.

The other thing is you'll need to bring a wagon/ute/trailer/van (not a Skyline - may not fit) and take it all away.. I live in Wagga Wagga, about 2 1/4 hours away. It'll only be one good wagonload - but I really need the space soon (in the next 2 weeks maximum). I'm not interested in seperating any little parts you need - if I was going to do that I'd be selling it myself. It all goes in one lot.

So, any takers? I'd hate to end up throwing something useful away here.

Do a search on this forum, Ive seen how to fix that involving a saftey pin

I too suffer from this =(

I think he means that whoever wants stuff needs to get it all, not just pick little bits out that we need. Has anyone got a garage that will fit the stuff, as my car will fit all this stuff if we have somewhere to keep it, like an SAU salvos bin. then everyone can come and get the bits they need as they see fit.

if not, i'll happilly make the trip then store it all at my parents farm in Bathurst, which again makes it harder for people to get to it.

Terminal is exactly right. I need the space - and am giving you the parts as payment for getting them I guess. There would have to be at least some useful stuff down there. Will get some pics in tomorrows light, as I said there is at least some useful stuff there.

Thanks for the kind words also guys.

As I said, i'd be more than happy to go and collect it all for him, just need somewhere to store it. my missus would kill me if i dumped it in our garage, so if anyone has a shed out back that's half empty share the love, and we can all have a spare parts bin to dip into when we need something.

otherwise i'll just take it back to bathurst and keep it there until people need the parts.

Ok, so we have a lift but no storage - any takers??? It would be great to get rid of it this weekend, or next at the latest.

As I said, a cleaver investor could make some money off this stuff I'm sure witha bit more time than I.

Zant,

I'll take it, I'll pick it up sometime next week - I can't this weekend - then try to get over to the xmas party at cotter. That way the other guys can look at it and/or take it. As stated, I don't really want it unless there is a GT3076R in it ... lol I'm pm you my number and we can talk about it.

    • Thanks heaps Duncan and GTSBoy. I'll get my old man to sit in the driver's seat and turn it on and off while I test with the meter. Or maybe other way round, depending on whether he remembers where his glasses got to
    • This is the GTR fuel pump. Yellow shows 12V, orange shows earth. The ECU provides the earth to activate the fuel pump relay. The ECU side of teh relay will pull low when the ECU activates. This is the RB20 fuel pump. Almost the same, but a little simpler. You can see I indicated (above) where the 12V line goes down to the RB20 diagram on the overall diagram, whch shows both RB26 and RB20. This is where I show it coming in on the RB20 diagram below. You can see that the dropping resistor is handled differently. When the fuel pump control is not providing earth to the pump, the pump earths through the dropping resistor and thus runs at lower voltage (some is wasted over the resistor) and runs slower. I showed that "not 12V and not quite earth" portion of the wiring in a paler orange. The rest of the wiring that I did not colour on that little section below the pump would be orange when the fuel pump coontroller is providing earth. This drop is handled inside the fuel pump controller in the GTR. Regardless, you can see where 12V is supposed to be, where earth is supposed to be. The key on prime is via the ECU providing the pump for only a few seconds the switching off. You should be able to see that happen.
