too late josh, its been headed that way for a while...

erin - you are over reacting

smoothline - your over reacting...

basically, smoothline is choosing bad words, and erin is over reacting a bit too much,

i like to have sau only cruises, not just skylines, but members of SAU... it keeps to people you know, either online only or what have you...

its good to have cruises that involve others sometimes too,

i just think smoothline was trying to voice his opinion of him wanting this cruise just for SAU people...

from how i understood it, it was more so having craper sigmas and bogan fags in falcadores coming along... which I agree with.

ok, i think its bullshit that you are all standing round sledging other peoples cars, u take a swipe at anyones car ur takin a swipe at them personally.

each of my cars i have been sledged and laughed at for owning them.

when i drove a shitbox 323, it was a shitbox allright, started when it felt like it, got its ass kicked at lights by excels, and it woulda worn a shitbox sticker with pride..... BUT it was well serviced, brakes were always in good nick, tyres were fine, there was nothing wrong with that car that was a detriment to other people using the road. and thats what is the case here. SHITBOX BY NAME NOT BY NATURE.... we are not entering the ****ing le mans race here..... its a bloody lesurly cruise through the hills to establish some ties between other clubs, and before our club is even off the ground, u have gone and rubbed the name in the dirt by thinking we are better than people, we drive skylines, yes thats good, but we are no better than someone driving a ss commodore, or a xf ute..... WHY!?!?! BECAUSE THEY LOVE THEIR CARS JUST AS MUCH! THEY CARE FOR THEM AS MUCH AS WE DO...

stop rubbishing other peoples cars, ur making us look like stuck up gits.

you ripping into andrews car is the biggest load of horse shit. his laser is more roadworthy than most cars i know of, i have cruised with andrew numerous times, and there aint nothing wrong with his ride nor any of the others who are members of "team shitbox" they are called shitboxes cause the OWNERS have the right to call them so, YOU DONT, what your opinion of these peoples cars should be kept to yourselves. andrews car's paint is in better condition than mine, so hang it all my car must be a shitbox

u attack them, you attack me, but not many of yas could give a shit about wether im here or not.

grow the **** up all of yas. To quote a famous skyline driver on a well known mountain..... "your a pack of assholes"

Chaos. When you get a car, maybe you can have a say or even the right to an opinion on this matter. Until then you dont.

Nismoman - GTR's up front, N/A's up the back? Shows what you know. Do you know how often I get stuck behind a 33/32 GTST through the mountains which is slowing me down? Especially in the rain.

These forums are a seperate entity to the actual state clubs, though they are our representation to the masses. A select few with small brains, doing exactly what got the last thread removed, who are also NEWBIES, are the problem here.

Sit down, shut up, and let the pros handle this. It makes me extrememly angry to see this happening in my beloved club. When you have put in as much as NismoGirl into SAU, then you can bag an event she would like to organise. Dont like it, dont go, and dont whinge.

Even though the first thread was removed, this thread has gone down exactly the same path, due to a select few.

Thread closed.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
