Hi

Looking to upgrade my brake's nothing too drastic, but looking at Slotted rotor's.. Since my stockys are on there way out to there wear and tear death bed, and are already on the limiter's :)

Ive seen the DBA's but ive heard that people have cracked them on this forum freind has them and only cracked the golds and not the other type, So im iffy about it.. :D

Just after an upgrade that is better then stock, Rotor's & Pads... Anybody have any favourite of brand's that arent to pricey

ps. If anybody has any stores/sites that i can contact with buying brakes that would be awesome :)

Try a search as this has been covered as nauseam. But anyway.

IMHO stay away from DBA rotors. I had two of four crack (DBA4000 series, one front, one rear) & after two track days the new front LHS rotor already has the beginnings of a crack in it.

Try RDA instead. I have no direct experience of them, but they can't be any worse than the DBA gear.

Ferodo make good pads, the DS2500 is well regarded for road + some track work.

If you want a good brake shop try Racebrakes in either Melbourne or Sydney. Have a think about what you want to do with the car before you either ring them or go see them.

A mate of mine went on a tour through DBA and said they're quality control was awesome? I've just bought some slotted 4000's and I expect no problems with them...

Stay away from drilled rotors if you are doing any sort of track work because they do crack. They even say that on the website. Repco has as good a price as anywhere else.
