You can't answer a question then stick a '?' on the end!!! lol

Ring Nissan, get the part numbers...for GT-t and GTR easy!

Either way the bolt locations look the bloody same to a GT-t to me.

nop

Here we go again , I don't want to get into an argument with you dude ( just been there and done that ). The head light itself is exacly the same as long as it is Xenon ( some low soec 34's had halogens). The brackets are the same , they bolt on , etc... i have fitted GTT lights on a GTR . there is a little difference however but not on the light itself . Halogen h/lights will fit on a GTR as well but the parker is different, the h/l assembly is the same .

I won't go in to the trouble to post up pics to show you the difference because i'm sure i'll get some expert to say something stupid like in this thread here, so blaim these experts here for it . As you can see there i went to a lot of trouble and then i get called names .. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...46296&st=20

By the way the h/lights for sale are from a GTR not GTT... Actually its easier to fit GTT h/lights to GTR than the other way around.

Yes GTT lights are the same as GTR. There is a difference as wrxhoon has mentioned but it is only in the rubber strip which runs across the top. The GTT has a longer rubber piece.

I should know - I pulled my GTR lights out (which had been converted to halogen during compliance) and put a set of GTT lights with the xenon bulbs plus ballasts still attached straight in. no difference...

I'm sure some "expert " will still say they are different..... probably come with "they are different part number so they must be different".

wrxhoon i agree with everything you've said so far mate but y do u have to be so sarcastic and smartass no one is doubting u on this post so take it easy man lol its sounds like u definately know ur shit and i aint arguing with no one but take a chill pill lol ...

If posting facts is considered a "smartass" by you, well then i'm guilty dude. If it wasn't for the smartasses in the other thread you would have pics to compare the 2 h/lights in this very post.

Sewid has pointed it out very well...

As for taking a "chill pill", I don't think that i will need one today, its bloody cold here lol....

lol come on mate im not tryin to pick a fight but srsly dont blame every1 for some ppls shit i get that alot man im lebo u dont understand how judged i get for other dickheads f*k ups. dont be like that man

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
