Duncan Posted December 8, 2006 Share Posted December 8, 2006 umm no.....in fact a stiff car is less likely to flex and crack the windscreen since it stays square. but that is with cars with full cages maybe half cage highlights the flex in the front half of the car? t01-100 Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 re: windows. does anyone else suffer cracked windscreen's caus their car is stiff?i have a half cage and mines been cracked for some time. from what i beleive is going in and out driveways With 18" R tyres, a strut brace and stiff shocks/springs my 200SX used to crack screens from the lower drivers side right up to the top passenger side when doing track days (no cage). The GTSt would also do the same at race meetings, and the only fix was to stitch the front legs of the roll cage to the A-piller. That said, the GTR's cage wasn't stiched to the A-piller and that didn't crack... maybe the GTR chassis is stiffer than GTSt?
