Clutch Noise

hey guys, just wanting some opinions... when i start my car when its cold and depress the clutch pedal there is a loud kind of grinding noise from my gearbox/clutch. but as soon as i let the clutch out it stops. this only happens for the first 5 or 6 times i push it in if that and only happens when its cold. if the car is warm it does not occur at all. ive been told my throw out bearing is on the way out also if this is any help. just wondering if you guys had any idea what may be happening. cheers,
