Hey Guys,

I'm going tomorrow to pick up an electronic ignition from an MR30 to pop into my c210.

I've done a search and found that it should bolt straigh in and you just connect the 2 wires.

Excuse the dumb ar$e question, do these 2 wires already exist on the standard C210, or are they new wires I need to connect somewhere. If yes, anyone got some quick step by step instructions?

thanks

I've got both the R30 manuals. The supplement kindly lent to me by Ghostrider.

The dizzy for a manual has adifferent part no. to the auto. I dont know why. I have emailed Nissan for some answers. I'll let you know.

Also there is great deal of difference between a Dec83 auto and a Jan 85 manual on the inlet side, The 85 model I just bought had been fitted with 82 auto dizzy and it runs like s#it. Also it had been reconverted back to petrol from gas.

I need to get a good look at a manual to figure out my next moves.

Anybody in Brisvegas got a manual five speed.?

L series is an L series so can't be too different in the drive dept . I think all the Japanese built engines had the same/similar timing cover adapter . Lumenition used to make an optical trigger kit for L series Jap distributors but don't know about nowdays .

Cheers A .
