For Sale - 1994 Series 1.5 Nissan Skyline 2.5L Turbo

Lowered to $16,550

My precious mistress of a skyline is up for sale as I have to get myself a more "family friendly" car now due to me finally growing up....shame. The car is a little over a year old and I am the first owner since I hand-picked picked it from the Japan auctions in late 2005. The car has really never skipped a beat and the build up of my pride and joy has been a fantastic journey fuel by love of the perfect combination of daily driven ability coupled with the strength to pull off a track day. Mods are listed below and are mostly of a functional nature and not for looks and cruising.

Hardware

* Front Mount Intercooler

* CES Split Dump Pipe which separates the Wastegate Gasses from the Exhaust for a strong top end acceleration

* CATCO Hi Flow Cat

* Kakimoto 3" Exhaust

* 3" Stainless Intake Pipe (The one that leads to the turbo)

* Hi-Flow Pod Filter with Aluminum Heat Shield

* 17" Genuine Work Rims wrapped in Bridgestone G3's. Sizes are 235(F) and 255®

* Genuine Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator

* Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch - Single Plate "organic". This is suitable for up to 250KW but still retains the factory feel and does not cause cramps in traffic

* Hi Flow Fuel pump (Z32)

* X-Force Front Strut Brace (Nismo Style)

* JIC Coilovers

* Bendix Ultimate Brake Pads

* JDM-33R Number Plate is included

Electronics

* Apexi Power FC Engine Management System

* Greddy e-01 Electronic Boost Controller with LCD Screen and Remote Control

* Both of these items have been recently tuned by "HITMAN". The car makes 201RWKW now at 10psi of boost.

Interior

* Recaro Drivers seat - (I have a matching passenger seat aswell but it is not installed. This is included in the sale)

* Genuine RPM 4 point Harness with eye bolts already installed so harness just clips on or off when needed

* Sony CD/MP3 Deck with remote Control coupled with a Sony 10 disc CD Stacker in the boot

* Genuine Nismo Leather Gear Knob

* Triple electronic gauge set in DIN slot showing Boost, Water Temp and A/F Ratio

* Stainless Cluster surrounds

* Tinted Windows all round @ 30% (Legal Limit)

I took the car to a track day once every 3 months for the past year and twice to the drags. The car has never skipped a beat and knock/pinging levels have never exceeded 25. The oil and filter was changed every 5000 km's OR directly after a track day...whichever came first. Oil was always replaced with "ELF Excellium 10W 50". The oil filter was always replaced with a genuine Nissan Item. Spark plugs are only 5000 km's old and the car has never been boost past 10psi

The car is garaged every night and washed every fortnight at the car was cafe next door. The car is available for inspection and test drives for serious bidders only.

Please feel free to ask any questions. The price may vary if you wish to exclude certain items from the sale (eg harness, EBC). Please feel free to give me a call or shoot me a message to request additional information. I hope that this car's next owner will take care of it as much as I have as alot of love and time has been dedicated to it.

Rego till Oct 07. Would consider a swap for a Starlet GT (EP82) with some cash my way.

Cheers,

Sam

Wow what a shame man! Got anymore suprises!?!

When i was at powerplay the other week a stagea came in and i was thinking the exact same thing....

This car is what got me into skylines and end result was me importing one! Well worth asking price, great car.

Yep. The harness is RPM. It's a simple clip on item that latches onto eye bolts rather than bolted in so it can easily installed/removed for track days

  • 4 weeks later...

Car is up for sale again. PFC and recaro seat are no longer available. Need to sell ASAP or swap for a GT Starlet or something similar (small/quick/efficient)

    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
    • Skyline R33 Series 2 sedan tail lights in excellent condition. These are becoming harder to find, especially in this state.    BOTH SETS ARE IN FANTASTIC CONDITION (REFER TO PHOTOS)    ✅ No broken covers or cracks ✅ Lenses are in flawless condition ✅ All rear mounting lugs intact ✅ Comes complete as pictured ✅ Perfect for restoration, replacement, or upgrade   These lights are ready to go, no surprises just quality OEM parts.   These are definitely one of the better sets we have seen in a while. With minimal wear and tear they will come as you see. Bear in mind they are not brand new they are almost 30 years old now. • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
