looks cool. whens the car coming back out?

should be around late feb to go testing ready to race at marc 10 sport compact

then race march 31 at qld

then front half of cage goes in an parachute and we should achieve 9.5 to 9.6 et at high 140 mph in may for rays 4th round.

how are things progressing with you lee?

  • 2 weeks later...

easy, put it in a skyline. i know someone selling a 32.

Getting there slowly.... Think I have the converter sorted out now, getting a CDI in a couple of weeks and then it should go ok.

I need to work out how to get a bigger dump pipe to fit though.

thats really coool.

oh just out of curiosity. was there a big diferance between your old turbo in regards to lag.

if so what sort of diferance. cheeres. im thinking of upgrading the t04z

i cant really give a real comparison as when the 51r was taken off the rear wheel had 10mm missing off each blade.

    • I'm not normally one for posting random videos, but I thought we'd all appreciate the honesty about how broken our cars tend to be lol. Genuine skyline life here.
    • New CAS just turned up from NZ Wiring. Looks like a nice bit of gear.  So, yeah. Triggered, bro. Realised I may as well do the cam belt while mucking about with it so will order one of them.
    • Even more fun, leave all the ADAS stuff plugged in, but in different locations, hopefully avoid any codes!   And honestly, all these new cars with their weird electronics. Pull all the electronics out Duncan, and just shove an aftermarket ECU and if needed a trans controller in, along with a PDM. Make it run basic but race car styled!
    • To follow up a question from earlier too since I had the front bar off again (fking!) This is what is between the bumper and the drivers side wheel And this is the navigator side, only one thing but its a biggy! So basically....no putting coolers in the wheel arches without a lot of moving other stuff. Assuming I move to properly race prepping this car I'll take that job on and see how the computers respond to removing a whole bunch of ADAS modules
