draining fuel tank

can someone please advise how to drain the fuel tank in a R32 GTR??

I suppose you could just drive it until it's empty... I hear that running it dry is bad for the injectors though.

To explain the problem slightly, ive got a GTR with T78 single turbo conversion, running 720cc injectors, with many other mods, so running the tank dry dry, really isn't my best method!!

Ive got a fuel surging problem, and it appears that when i changed the fuel filter, ive got a heap of sh@t in the fuel tank, so im thinking it might be easier to drain tank and then use fresh fuel!!

who knows, just asking for anyones advise to draining tank? like if there is a plug, like the sump???

Well, I suppose you could try and get into the top of the tank - where the fuel level sensor goes. Then use a pump of some sort to drain it out. That probably won't get any solid shit out, just the liquids..

...maybe you might just have to drop the tank.
