Day was awesome big props to Paragon even though he drives a silvia :)... and also Derrick he gave me some pointers through out the day and by the end i was actually able to do some of them lol

By the 3rd one i was carving up (personal opinion :P) hehe you were right though a tap of the hand brake down the end there just kept it going was unreal. Look forward to doing it again in the future...

I still have not washed my car i figure i had better go to car lovers when management is not around. (we still can't wash our cars at home can we ???)

Of course you can't wash your car at home :D . The guy at car lovers did give me a strange look lol :). Still have to go over my car, have been using waterless wash, will use that to finish my car off.

Anyway was a Great day as always, looking forward to the video

good fun. I am aiming to go next time without smashing my front bar.

bought a new set of tyres after dorifto and the dumb ass "misplaced my hub centric rings and also assured my 235's would not scrub.... THEY DO!!!!!!!

now i will have to get 3mm spacers and have some more hub centric rings made...

I know i should have waited and gone to see mark at discount tyres but i did not like the idea of driving on completely bald tyres for a week.

It was really good to meet all of you and everyone was doing so well. the day is so much better with all nissans. Honestly you guys are much better drivers than all the other riff raff that are there on the open days :)

I was sure I couldn't anyways just that I spotted this on the actew website

General Exemptions

Water can be used to wash a vehicle's windows, mirrors or lights, and for spot removal of corrosive substances, and then only with a bucket or watering can filled directly from a tap (not by means of a hose).

I would classify the amount of shit on my car as being corrosive substances although it is not really a spot removal it would be a full wash hehe

Anyways I have the best idea I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner... THERMOS... safest way to get hot water down to the car wash and it at least cleans it up nicely.

Of course you can't wash your car at home  . The guy at car lovers did give me a strange look lol :).

Hey all, Josh here!

Yeah have just looked over the raw footage, and u give r speedstars woot! I'll make a 30 sec vid clip that u guys can view, and from there we can figure out DVD copies + raw footage. Awesome day guys - good job on track, although I don't recommend filming inside a car, as generally stability isn't an option (and I REALLY like stability when I film haha!).

couldn't believe you got in the car wit the camera!! must have been crazy..

yeah, my car kinda clean.. still needs some TLC..

thrid time on the pan, and feeling like my skillz going backwards >_< not sure what's up with that..

must try and make it up to wakefield with Derreck one day.. he seems pretty good I think..

I can't believe I didn't come, sounds like you guys had a great day, and alot of awsome cars were out there. Next time I'll be there paragon

P.S hey everyone, its Reece

    • I’m here solo don’t have any hands to help so haven’t hit it with a timing light
    • When you crank your car, and hit it with a timing light, can you see a steady crank timing?
    • Oh, forgot to add, A few months ago I was getting mixture codes and the car was using crap loads of fuel. You could smell the unburned fuel in the exhaust, it was crazy strong. Economy was over 17.5 l/100 and usually around 19. I smoked the engine and found a leaky CCV hose which I replaced and then I replaced my two pre cat O2 sensors, I also replaced the MAF. This fixed my mixture codes and improved my exonomy but I'm still 14 - 15 l/100 when pottering about town so something is still amiss. Throttle response is much better and it has more pep but I'd like to know why it's still so thirsty (and I'm hoping that whatever it is gives me a bit more poke).
    • Car is on factory injectors/z32 maf/ q45 throttle body/ z32 ecu with nistune
    • Hello all, currently finishing up a rb25 swap into my s14. Having issues with starting, car has spark (confirmed by pulling a plug and watching it spark), has fuel(confirmed by checking pulse/voltage at injectors all spark plugs are soaked in fuel). Car cranks over and pops into the exhaust with a heavy fuel smell but no attempt to start or run, I have torn the timing cover off and triple confirmed timing, turned the CAS in multiple spots both directions, attempted to start with coolant temp and maf unplugged, checked my fuel lines and made sure they weren’t backwards, checked voltage at cas/injectors/coilpacks, made sure all the grounds in the harness are connected and added a few grounding straps (1 from chassis to block, 1 from chassis to head, and 1 from chassis to igniter chip) I am getting stumped here. As a last ditch effort I made a full grounding harness tonight that’s going to run from the battery and add an extra ground from the battery onto the coil pack harness/igniter chip/ intake manifold/ Wiring specialties harness ground/ and alternator. I’m hoping maybe the grounding harness will fix it here but posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas on what else I can check. My fuel pressure is unknown right gauge will be here tomorrow.  IMG_3206.mov
