hey guys,

its time for me to part with my beloved pride and joy... :(

i purchased this car last year in aprill and thought ide be up to it but my wages as a first year trainee in retail has proven to hard to keep my baby... As much as i really want to keep the car, i just want to keep doing more and more to it but finaceually i cant afford to do so..

Ok, now my sob story is out of the way its time to talk about the car..

The motor is a 3.0ltr twin turbo quad cam V6, which has undergone a very picky inspection and results have come back in tip top condition...

The shell is near perfect except for a couple of little dents (nothing major).. I took the car to a paintless dent repairer here in ballarat and they quoted $300 to rub them out.... front bar also has a slight crack in it, to fix the bar and respray it was quoted $280.. i can arrange for thoses two things to be fixed but under buyers expense as i will be honest with you when i say i cant spend any more money on the car.....

Interior is in immaculent condition except for a little hole in the drivers seat the size of a 5cent piece.. other than those couple of things the car is perfect....

The colour of the car is a Charcole Grey but in the sunlight you can see a silver sparkle throughout the paint...

Body kit is standard as i hate cars with big kits, in my oppinion the standard kit on any car will be smoother and look a lot nicer than any after market wank job...

Drive train has been inspected and the auto is still as strong as it was when released from the show room and the LSD is also very tight and never failed to amaze me...

Extras: The car is rolling on a set of 19" XHP Dirty Dogs which are only 3months old, NO marks or scrapes what so ever with 95% tread...

2-1/2" dual exhaust from the dumps into a couple of 4" mufflers... looks and sounds very nice...

2 Monza type III BOV's mounted on some custom stailess hard pipes..

I have some auto meter Pro comp water temp and oil pressure gauges to go with the car as i havn't got around to getting them installed

Also a new turbo timer Brand new in box needs fitting as old one spat the dummy...

The stereo produced 133 db's which to me isnt much but thats all i could do with my budget...

The car has done 109,...KM's which i have serviced every 5,000km's...

Previous owner of the car who is a highly known and respected Zed lover MrZEE from the Aus300zx forum got the 100,000km service done when the odometer read 85,000km's....

Thats as much as i can think of about the car off the top of my head so if you have any questions regaurding the car please feel free to do so...

I am located in Ballarat Victoria and asking $12,500 FIRM... if no one likes the price, its simple hold your comments to your self... NO TIME WAISTERS TOLLERATED... i do not want to be mucked around..

PICS NOW AVAILIBLE SCROLL DOWN!!!

WILLING TO SWAP, SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT

Thank you... Pete

lol,

looks like it hard these day to sell our Z.

did u see on the australian ZX forum how many Z there is for sale ...

:D

Yeah i know there is a fair few out there for sale... i cant see why people dont want to buy them, they are great cars, they just need alot of care... really no different to any car when you think about it...

I might also add that i cant belive mine hasnt gone yet considering its condition and its appeal... too many people want it but all dont have the f!@#ing money :( lol

im selling mine as well, the best offer i had was 13000$ ...

im looking a little bit more, but i prefer to keep it rather than selling it a this price ...

there is too many extra on mine

but urs is definately a good price, did u try to advertise it on ebay or carsales?

I was going to buy this car, early last year off the previous owner (mr Zee), but I bought a modified

zed instead. This car is a very clean, mostly standard zed that won't dissapoint. It's hard to find an

example of a zed like this these days at this price.

Good luck with the sale.

    • Nah, they'll do it without a receipt, tell em roughly when it was, that it was cash, youll likely only get store credit, but that gets you some dollars towards the newer better shovel, or other item you need/want later.   Still take it back and have a crack at returning it.
    • Nah. Was just wondering if you were having a small stroke or if there was some slur/gaf/inside joke that I wasn't aware of.
    • That was a fark up, it's Salamanca Place I was thinking of. And now I'm curious as to what potential slur/gaf I have caused with Salamander Road, ha ha!
    • Actually everyone on the roads was really well behaved. The only person that did any minor tailgating was a local hoon in a Turbo Focus. Unfortunately we weren't going the same way so there was no grand initial D touge battle. Lots of people pulled over and let me through. The amount of "Hey man nice car, omg skyline, nice 34 man woo" was suprising. Like really suprising. Like almost annoying. My partner was obviously surprised, she'd never seen anyone in the real world point out the car/like the car/want to chat about the car before, so to have like 3 people per day mention it was notable, I could finally say SEE? SOMEONE THINKS THEY'RE COOL. Everyone was also pretty suprised about the weather. Every day was dry and about ~13-14C. Mount Wellington had a sign that said they close the gates at 9pm and I was heading up there at about ~7:30. It was VERY apparent that conditions were getting significantly worse by the minute on the way up and down. The road on the mountain was terrible though, it's no driving road. I have various suspension related questions now. Luckily it was only about 20 minutes from where we were staying to the top of the mountain as said Google maps. We only had the 2 nights in Hobart. We went to the Farm Gate Market though which was really good - And went down to the Hastings Thermal springs/caves down there during the day. I'd definitely be up for going back again, so luckily there's a few more sights yet to see. Didn't get to do the west coast/queenstown/cradle mountain so this was supposed to be a 'scouting' trip anyway of sorts if I were to one day do/take part in/organize a more car-focused trip. As for the boat, it wasn't bad. Well it was bad, but not in the way you're thinking. We did the night trip which leaves at 6:45 (though you have to be there ~2 hours earlier) and arrives the next morning at about 6am. There is nothing to do on the ship. If you plan accordingly and bring a book/tablet/show to watch/charger you can just chill out, take some Travacalm and just sleep through it. The food there is an extremely basic buffet that costs $32 a plate, or $14 for a $3 pizza. The way back we had a travel kettle and a few different types of cup noodles and made our own tea/coffee in the room. This was a far superior way to do it. At the very least book one of the rooms with beds. I guess as we were in the off season we didn't have room mates. You get an option for rooms with 4 beds (2x bunks) or a room with just the two bottom beds. There's also some option for a deluxe queen bed but it's much pricer. We've been on sleeper trains in Asia before so we figured this is similar (and it was)
