I would have thought that driving safely and responsibly is what mainly counts on the streets. ;)

Integra Type R should be put against the Type R r34 for matching..

And id rather a nissan then a honda... hey you want fast pickup speed... by a 750+ cc motorbike

Honda do make decent engines , i'll always choose a nissan over a honda... ok from my experience

stock r33 turbo (keyword turbo here!) will beat a type R no problems,

stock r33 turbo (again turbo , keyword) will beat a S2000. the S2000 will keep up for a while but wont hold its power long enough to outrun the 33

Again this is just from my experience people...

I'll go out on a limb and say that a DC2R is more of a sports car, and a more exciting car to drive than a non-turbo R34, espically if the R34 is auto. then it's no contest.

r34 gt skyline = 1370kg, 147kw

1999 integra type r = 1170kg, 141kw

so 200kg less, and only 7kw less. that is why they are faster.

i'd put the missus SSS pulsar up against a natro skyline. it is only stock motor but has 112hp at the front wheels and pulls like a train. it just has a 2" exhaust and extractors (which made a huge difference). it nearly keeps up with midly modded silvias.

Based on experience as well.

a Honda Integra DC2R can outrun a r33 gts25t(stock) of course because it also depends on the age/condition of the r33 and DRIVER.

People with Dc2r's can manage a high 14's qtr mile stock, r33's result vary depending on driver's skill stock (mid-high 14's) some even worst.

my 2c.

Yea umm.... i'm sure you've given somone a run on the streets wether it was safe or not... and if you havn't your lieing i can see through your monitor that you are

But yea safety first... dun worrie i wear a rubber :(

Edit: all seriousness everyone keep racing off the streets :iluvff:

I knew it wouldn't take long for this one to turn to poo.

Just a reminder to everyone, street racing is ILLEGAL and DANGEROUS, and if you want to discuss illegal activities, it's highly recommended that you find another forum to do it on, because we don't take kindly to that sort of thing here.

...anyway, this thread has served its purpose, the question was answered on the first page.

Locked.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
