Okay guys. I have been wondering this for a bit now, I have heard different things from different tuners and I wanted to find out what you guys do.

Say you are running a standalone, PFC, AEM, Motec, whatever. How many different maps do you have available to run?

Obviously you will have one for Race gas and one for pump gas. But do you have one for pump gas low boost, pump gas high boost, race gas low boost, race gas high boost? That kinda stuff.

Personally I am going to run meth injection instead of race gas, so I will have one for pump gas and one for pump w/ meth. But different people say different things about low and high boost maps.

What do you guys think/do?

If you are using an AFM or a map sensor for the load mapping then boost is irrelevant. You will need different maps for each type of fuel.

Good luck with getting it run nicely on pump fuel with injectors big enough for methanol

:) cheers :)

If i want more boost, i'll put it further to the floor, if i want less i'll use less foot. :spank:

Hi/low boost IMO is a pointless excercise and is just more of a cost because you need 4 tunes.

Worst case you might need two. I used one and just adjusted it

Then there is the case of you might forget one time or load the wrong map, then your introuble.
