Hello to everyone

Thought i would intro myself. My name is David

Just bought a 2000 R34 (non turbo) stock standard for a daily driver.

I take delivery tomorow.

I have joined this site as i am looking to do some visual mods to it (kit / rims - Hoping to fit a gtr kit to it.)

Not looking at power as I also own a Nissan Nxr (turbo) that runs a 12.54 1/4 mile

I will also join in some cruises but am limited as i am married with 2 children, and also run my own business that ties me up nights & weekends

Hi all, my name is Michael, live near Tamborine mountain and I have a DR30 coupe. Been a skyline driver for a long time, had 4 skylines now, 3 of them r30s and 2 of those DR30s (1 a 4 door and now a 2 door), the others were amd aussie MR and an R33 but no longer have that, gone back to the old school 4 cyl FJ powered DR, one reason being Anna Bligh. Love my DR tho, not many of them around now.

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
