Hey Guys,

I have an R33 that is pretty stock, catback exhause (i think its about 3.5'' with 4.5'' tip) and a HKS air filter is all that is done to it. I wanted to get a bit more power out of it and was wonder what are the 1st steps usually to an R33 to get the ball rolling?

I was thinking Boost Controller & Intercooler would be my 1st steps - but if you have another opinion where i can better spend my money to get better results i would love to hear them.

Cheers!

Your first steps should be front/dump pipe ($250-300), hi-flow cat ($150-200).

Then get a boost controller (so you don't overboost), FMIC and then look at a computer.

all depends on how much u want to spend?

cheap way= full exhaust, apexi afc neo, ebc, cooler and 13 psi should get u some healthy figures.

if u want to spend more get a bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump, aftermarket ecu run 16+ psi

I would definately look at getting a split dump / front pipe (split single piece) made up and a hiflow cat. it'll free up alot of option for future modding.

Then look at intercooler and maybe a power fc. Depending on how far you want to push it, but I would leave it at that. After this point factory parts start to fall short and break and lots of things need to be upgraded to make more power.

You'll be looking at some serious cash, new injectors, fuel rails, fuel pump, new AFMS, forged internals... blah blah blah..

Just depends on how deep your pocket are
