I think the GTS VS-GT kit like yours looks stunning!! although the GTS C1 kit is possibly the worst kit ive seen on a GTT.

Hey everyone, first up nice cars! I scimmed through a few posts on the first 3 pages and cars like ss8 gohan, mikyel, alien etc all look nice. I love R34's, Ive got a yellow 34 that i just got, its aaaalll stock atm and i wana make it look sleek and mean first.. any ideas?

Im not loaded so it'll have to be done in steps. I'd prefer starting with the front bar then work back.

Im from Perth so is over east the better place to get or does anyone know people on the west that can help me out?

Im also havin trouble choosing between 19" & 18" rims... What do You guys prefer and why?

Pics help heaps! I dont want to stuff around modifying body just to fit shit on, im sure people have made hot kits for gtt's only. Down the track mirrors, wing & bonnet id like to change also. Sorry bout all the writing!

Thanks Guys!

P.S how do i put a pic up in a post already enlarged?(without having to download)

34 kits r pretty limited actually, not as many as the 32 & 33 aftermarket kits around. I reckon with that front bar u already have, u can simply add a GTR front lip(see pic). That'll give it a sorta GTR look but the front lip dont come cheap tho ~$600 from Powerplay. Leave the wing out, they r ghey, old skool and dont serve any purpose wotsoeva for a street car. 19's look nice but 18's would be better if ur gonna take it out on track day. Plenty of threads bout kits & rims here, do a search.

Yeh that looks really nice although, see the holes where the fog lights are on my front bar? I really dont like them, i was told to paint them yellow but id prefer it with no hole at all. Therefore for $600 could I get a whole new front bar?..

Does anyone know the legal ride height in western Australia? is it measured by kit/exhuast or what? cos if cops are gona be assholes (most likely), then im gona get adjustable suspension.

Ill leave rims out of this post, I dont wana get off topic but thanks a lot for ur info mate!

What do you guys think of these parts?.. doesnt have to be from this supplier but just the styles.

yea i really like driftmeisters r34. that is what i will be basing my 25GT on....(green ps=no turbo eheh)

i like the rear veilside/topsecret diffuser. looks awsome on white. nice wheels too. but the front is a bit too much for me. the sides are also nice but if i were to go for a different front bar. then maybe i wont use the sides either...

this bosy kit isnt that expencive to the ugly versions of the veilside kit.

go to the japan websit and online shop. its got english too. pretty easy. i also speak japanese and read and write but i didnt have to use any to get my way around hehe.

btw driftmeister can you PM where abouts your shop etc is? i like the blog and vids too. and that movie coming out looks great btw.....

    • That sounds like an excellent idea. But total self-sufficiency means exactly that. You have no-one else to blame when your system faults out and you have no power for a week or two while it gets fixed. You'd have to go the whole hog and get a diesel genny and all the switchover gear, to get you through such times. And, despite the fact that over 20 years, my system has been pretty reliable**, I have seen so many inverter explosions (or less dramatic deaths), panel and roof JB fires, and so on, over that time, to know that the stuff is the same as any other bulk Chinese manufactured stuff. The failure rate is well above zero - both on the equipment and on behalf of the meth addled installation labour force. And then..... warranty and means of redress against the supplier you bought the gear from. Best I can tell is that only a handful of solar companies are still around within 5 years of starting their advertising pitch. They disappear and phoenix like crazy. So, as per 1st paragraph, I suspect the only way to is go balls deep and spend maybe 2-3 times as much as you might think, so that you have every base covered. Plus, know and understand your gear intimately, so you can diagnose problems, sort them out yourself, etc, etc. Plus, probably have to consider upgrading various parts as the years pass, to maintain compatibility with newer stuff, performance and reliability, etc, etc. Whereas, remaining attached to the grid has an ongoing cost that keeps going up even if you use bugger all power from it. But it does provide the fallback in case of the worst case with your own gear. You either pay up front or as you go, I suspect.
    • Add more solar panels to the array. Call the electricity company and tell them you're moving out... Live off grid electric wise
    • Hi Jasmine. How's the war going?
    • I'm extremely suspicious of the VPP stuff. Best I can tell, you surrender any and all control of your panels and battery to the VPP, because there's no way that anyone could write a sufficiently useful set of "rules" as to how much you would be willing to let out of your export meter at any given time. If one of your main interests is to have enough in your battery every evening to get you through the night without having to import, you could easily find yourself with nothing in your battery at the end of the day, or part way through the night, and then be paying import pricing instead of paying nothing. I cannot see how this cannot come to pass.
    • majority aftermarket is an10 yes, but majority of OEM is An12 r35 OEM cooler lines at close to an 12, the hard line that car uses is almost 20mm  Porsche OEM is also AN12   i figure, if our power levels are close to 1000hp, then AN12 should be a must if many OEM standard power vehicles use AN12
