Quite often when you get a really good deal on some 3 peice wheels you overlook the fact that the offset is not exactly what you need.

I bought a set of wheels that are +42 and ideally they need to be +35 to +37 so I need spacers. At the moment I have some rubbish ones that look like they were made out of tin foil and the holes are even elongated so they are multifit.

the wheels are perfectly balaced and without spacers there is no wheel shake but with them there is noticable steering shake at 100kmph so the spacers are not holding the wheel flat on the hub. (what a suprise)

So I need a pait of hubcentric 5mm to 7mm 4x114.3 spacers that are a flat peice of steel.

Does anyone have access to a lathe and if geven specs could make a pair up for me? happy to pay

how in the world could you make 5mm bolt on spacers mate? so of course he is not using bolt on spacers, and there is nothing dodgey about a proper spacer machined out of a piece of billet aluminium. we have some about 30mm on the race car and have no problems at all.

yea i get steering wheel shake too at 100km/h

are spacers really illegal? because I have just put 245/45 on my front wheels and it looks like there is no gap between the suspension top and the inner end of the tyre. I think it is hitting when I turn or go 100km/p.

Im thinking of getting these spacers but im not sure if they are legal? They are not bolt on, but go between the hub and wheel

WHEEL SPACERS 5mm

where can I find good ones?

ok if any one needs them ill make a couple of sets but if there are more than 10 sets ill make a cnc program

just need PCD of stud holes O.d and I.D and thickness

contact via pm

cheers

I ended up getting some machined up in sydney.

they are alloy and ave hubcentric rings with just my 114.3 x 4 pcd. they are 8mm thick. but to use them captive insert nuts have been used that actually have a shank that goes through the wheel and centres in the whole in the spacer.

sorry it's a bad description but they are an impressive bit of kit.

    • thanks for the advice on the box... i was thinking the 6 speed was better for cruising on the highway but on closer inspection and comparison the Rb 5 speed box was not too different...  So the choice is going to be the RB25 box... if I can save up and find one at the right price
    • Thanks Matt, yes that's what i am aiming for. Just going to apply the right voltage and grounds to the dash connector. Hence my search for these pins... any chance you know if these pins are in the same spot as the ones on the S15 Dash connector? as mentioned above on page 8?
    • Yes, unfortunately that's the one. Signal was noisy to begin with; after driving once and looking back at the logs I saw pressure constantly swinging between 0-200psi, or staying at 0 randomly for a few seconds. There's a lot of good sensors that share the same look and feel, so don't presume they're all bad. I bought mine for 20$ off Amazon and I should have read the reviews prior, as it's clear they're junk.  I purchased a lowdollerr motorsports sensor.
