Ticking Injectors

Hey guys, i got a 96 skyline bought it bout two months ago completely stock

I put a 3" turbo back exhaust, turbosmart manual boost controller, K'n'N panelfilter and fmic and running boost at 10-11 psi. I'm now getting a ticking noise sounds like its coming from the injectors, are my injectors no good or is it something else.

if injectors should i just replace them wit stock new ones or put aftermarket ones in.

try havin them cleaned or u sure its not ur fan hittin ut cooler pipe.

na its not the fan i trimmed the fan when i installed fmic and lubed the belts only last week its def coming from inside its a little worse under acceleration. i didnt wanna mechcanic feeding me shit...

Sure its not lifters? Does the noise go away?

Does it tap quicker as you rev the car?

Injectors are supposed to "tick". If it has only just started, it could be a stuck lifter - Nulon make stuff supposed to clear them. Or it could be "piston slap", where the piston and bore are becoming mis-matched for roundness.

thanks for the help guys only new to all this but learning heaps yeah i bought some stuff from nulon today injector cleaner i'll see how it goes hope it works keep you posted

best to do it with new oil... And if u got the cash use thick oil with nulon lifter treatment then once it goes away replace with your normal lighter oil

DO NOT stick that stuff in your oil - it is INJECTOR cleaner, not LIFTER cleaner.

Injector cleaner goes in with ur petrol when u fill up (certain ratio u should use)

Like blind elk said DO NOT PUT INJECTOR CLEANER IN WITH UR OIL!!!
